Yeah, head on over to HoN. The game play is fairly similar but the interface and hosting abilities is far superior. There's a ranking system, leaver protection, auto game balancing based ranking etc.

Yeah, my mate who f**ked the car is on FB. Part of the deals was "I pay for it, you never mention it again". Think he's embarrassed. The smoke coming from the hood was most definitely the clutch, what was once a nice bright pink clutch no less than 4 weeks before this incident is now pretty much black. Huge chunks of the clutch pad had been removed and it was pretty much gone. First and second gear were a mess of mashed metal and the whole thing had been completely cooked. Dunno what temperature this gearbox reached, but they mechanic claimed they were pulling out masses of "fluff" from the clutch pad. Mechanics theory: my mate may have been slamming the car into gear and not giving the syncos a chance to work. It's difficult to know, because my mate claims he did nothing at all. Yet he offered straight off the bat to pay for everything, which leads me to suspect he feels guilty about something. Only thing certain is that in the 15-20min he had the car he royally f**ked it.

I know from personal experience cops word > your word. Even when the cops exaggerates ridiculously. The courts look after their own, even with a decent lawyer you'll have a rough fight on your hands.

If you really need proof I'd be more than happy to paste every one of your deleted post on here if you like, if I recall there was one in the jokes thread that I'm sure SAU would really appreciate. I'd rather not, out of respect to SAU and the parties involved.

IF you get the SZ-R. The 5spd manual (what I have) that comes with the SZ is apparently too weak to handle higher powered 2J's. The Getrag 6spd box is near unbreakable though (plenty of 500+rwkw Supras on the Aussie forums with the box), both the RZ (TT Supra) and SZ-R come with the 6spd. Best advice I can give is to test drive both. I was dead set on the R34 till I test drove a Supra, but your opinion may vary.

It's the randoms that always make me laugh. I remember some shitbox hatchback tried to go me once, revved it up, dumped it and all. I took off normally then decide to give my car a little push (3/4 throttle) and still came out a head before we reached the speed limit. Then again, like someone mentioned earlier it might just be people who are running late or always take off like maniacs from the lights, because I get some bizarre cars take off beside me.

Heh, if you can afford an 18k Autech S15 definitely take that over any other. Honestly though it comes down to what you want from the car. I mean if you have no intention of taking to the track/strip etc, then performance really becomes a moot point. Just get a 10k R34 sedan auto, put some nice wheels and a catback exhaust on it and putt around in it till you're off your P's. I'd almost recommend taking this route simply because if you do buy some that's almost decent performance wise you'll pour a ton of money into trying to make it decent.

It's whatever you prefer, although you'll come to love whatever you buy. For me: I love the 34 headlights over the Supra I love the Supra's rear guards and wide low stance 34's look better with spoilers, Soops look better without I loooove the hood on the Supra, its similar to a Viper Interior R34's look better, but a bit plastic The Supra tachos are hideous Kitted 34s look way better, Supras can get really "ricey" Boot and rear seats on the Supra are non existant (MUCH worse than the R34) R34 is going to be newer, but then again the 2J is an amazing engine They both sound good NA Supras go faster (mine keeps up with stock Evos and destroys stock GTSTs and Silvias) I should stop heh. I dunno, I love both. Based on looks alone I take a Supra over an R34 anyday, unless its GTR. Now that's an menacing looking car.

Yeah, I had to make the same choice. Choose between tough or sexy. Once I test drove both though it was an easy choice. The Supra felt far more... like a drivers car. Plus the R34 interior just didn't do it for me. Felt too... cheap? Then again, I must be one of the few that actually likes the Supra interior because so many people hate them.

N/A Supra ftw. Easily within your price range, NA 2J is near unbreakable and they look awesome. Besides, basic mods can net you nearly 150rwkw. Edit: If you're really keen, buy the SZ-R (bigger brakes, Getrag 6spd box) and when you're off your P's buy the TT engine and drop it in. Can even buy a TT half cut to clean, work and modify until the time is right to swap.

Think the whole thing is gone. Gonna make a surprise visit tomorrow to collect some stuff from the car and see the box itself. A lot of people on the Supraforums are very curious as to how you blow a W58 gearbox with an NA Supra (I wasn't driving when it happened).

My gearbox just blew. I'm considering selling the Soop and just buying a daily driver till I'm of my P's. Not worth having a car like this on my income when I need it for daily driving.

What's fascination with the 4age anyway? I looked it up on wiki, but it mentions nothing about the cult following it has. To all the others, thanks for the responses too.
