Hey all
My 32 GTR has tein suspension in it. I am the first owner in aus and have had it for about a month.
This is the car's only mod and i suspect it is jap spec suspension with a really hard spring rate
The car is soo stiff to drive , i have softened up the fronts to as far anti clockwise (softest), and i cant yet get to the rear.
So
what i ultimately want is a suspension set up that is going to give a smooth ride over handling.
Not to say i want to feel like im driving a boat, but what i have now yea probably gives great handling, but i need to use the car every day
so i want something thats going to be comfortable.
What do you think my options would be
I was thinking about selling my tein suspension and maybe just puttin in stock GTR suspension, or possibly a new setup of some kind.
Also, how do i access the rear shocks, do i have to pull the seat out. How do i do this?? Can anyone tell me the steps
Thanks heaps guys
This is really driving me mad!
cheers

can only hear it when the passenger window is down
generally it happens approx above say 40km/h
and you can hear it more when no throttle, but still rolling in gear
i suspect its a vibration of some kind
the passenger in the car can hear it and they suspected the rear wheel
but i cant seem to see anything loose or snythin

u said the answe right there......i dont/didnt want my car to be like everyone else.................................

went and looked at a s13 ca18det for daily lapper, and noticed during the car revving through gears the car revs out for about 2 grand, not really going anywere, then when getting into higher revs, it grabs and pulls away. is this tell tale signs of a buggered clutch?
any help would be awesome
cheers guys
sounds just like mine
and my clutch was farked!!

i got my exceedy heavy duty
for i think 550 or 600 and then a few hundred to fit
works very well
-
i tried this and made no difference
then my clutch wore out and i got a new one
now no noise, just cost a lot....
-
new exceedy clutch in and all better !!!
just had the fly machined
did the timing belt and all that at same time
so lets say i could just about add 2 g to my gtr purchase price
but now everything is freshened up
-
i first thought atmo bovs were mad, this was before i had a turbo car
now i cant stand them
-
But how does that explain my 550km per tank economy?
man that would be awesome to get that econ
my gtr holds 63L i think
and i get about 350k out of it maybe a bit more
-
just block it off then
what its doing is returning the boosted air back to the intake
instead your letting it all out so all the chocko's go uleh!!
-
yeah sweet
ill take it to the blackman re trimmer place
