im really trying to suss out some good priced N1 turbos, or similar
however by getting n1's im keeping the car fairly original, as was my intention

the car is going in soon for a major service
all fluids
timing belt
w/pump
fuel filter etc
so hopefully i wont have any real probs with the k's anyways as it seems to have been looked after well
just dont want the turbos to explode

seems like heaps of work to stop a click
i thought i might be able to just pull out a fuse or a wire
might just have to live with it

yeah i though similar, cos with the softer spring you could probs bottom out the shock if it was low
either way im thinking i may sell these and get a different suspension set up
anyone know whats got a good ride but can still look tough, if its not a stupid question

i was on the no explode and cellmass stack
also had the hydroxy cut too, but could never be fkd using it so its sitting here collecting dust
i hear that a product called horsepower is even more potent than no- explode, with great results

in that case, i might see if i can maybe change the springs to softer ones
the car is so stiff
as a daily driver its really uncomfortable at times

do you find it makes a big differece going from full soft to full hard??

my 32 gtr has tein coilovers in it
but they are so stiff that driving on the road you feel like the car shakes if you go over a bottle cap
so was wondering if to soften them i turn the damper adjuster clockwise or anti clockwise
and also how do i get to the ones in the rear ???

i think thats what im going to do
change all the fluids and basically replace everything
incl timing belt etc

like some of the others have stated, get a full service done first (oils, timing belt, water pump etc) and put on a descent 3" cat back exhaust and high flow cat and pod air filters. these wont be putting too much strain on the engine (or turbos)
also how does ur intake plenum look? alot of paint flaking/missing ? or is it all completely black?
ps. congrats on the purchase, hopefully mine comes soon :|
yeah
that was something i was looking out for
the intake plenum has very minor paint flakes up near the back, as i said very minor tho
and no real indication to show it has been re painted

and im sure the proprietor of RE knows more about engine health.
