  1. p.s: its in an r34 gt-t and previous owner apparently put in a HD clutch which is <1000km
  2. Anyone please? It's worst when taking off from first gear, the clutch howls like a bitch and the car shudders as I take off. Yesterday when shifting from first to second it shuddered and a light came on my dash: "SLIP" but only for a second. The other times when it is especially bad is when I'm shifting down gears. Shifting up gears is usually pretty smooth.
  3. Hey this problem started randomly the other day. When I take off as I'm releasing the clutch I can feel a grinding through the pedal and the whole car shudders and almost stalls. Once I've got it moving it seems to be okay. Sometimes when I'm changing gears it does it again. Especially when I'm changing down gears, as I'm releasing the clutch it grinds and makes a god awful noise. Anyone help?

  5. I'm not sure what ECU I'm running, I'm not as knowledgable as I probably should be about engines. It wasn't actually me that installed the turbo, it was the previous owner, I'm not sure what modifications he made to it after putting in the turbo.
  6. Chucked a Turbo into my 1994 R33 GTS-T RB25DE. Whenever I hit the boost at like 0.5bar for more than a second, the whole car jumps and the turbo drops out to -0.5 One friend said I need a new Fuel Pump that can handle the Turbo as the RB25DE Fuel Pump isn't giving it enough fuel. Another friend says it's my Fuel Compression Ratio, what should my ratio be and how should I check it? Any ideas? (Spark Plugs and Coil Packs are fine)
  7. today i checked all the coilpacks, all were in good condition. During the test drive right after at around .75bar the car jolts and continues to rev but the boost drop to .25 bar.... (it did NOT do this before) it did not misfire though which indicated to me that it was the fuel pump to start with as the DE fuel pump can handle .25bar but not .75bar if that makes sense.
  8. Thanks guys I'm going to check the coilpacks today, but i read a different thread about a guy with stuffed coilpacks to fix his misfiring, and by the sounds of it, he was just getting the odd miss, a single pop. Mine sounds more like a machine gun when i get to about 5500.
  9. Hey guys. I bought the car with this condition and havn't been able to get it fixed yet. At high RPM, i can hear ALOT of misfiring from the exhaust, and I'm losing a whole lot of power, and it's obviously not good for the car. I've asked all my friends and they're saying that because my R33 GTS-T didn't come stock with a turbo, when the previous owner threw in a turbo he should have upgraded the fuel pump aswell, I'm still running the stock fuel pump. So I'm buying a new one in the next few days but they're not 100% sure that it will fix it, any ideas? Thanks.
