  1. Hey all. Times are tough and I need some piece of mind So now i'm selling two sets of Rims: 1. These were going to be my new track rims: Weds TC-005 17x9 +25. Fitted with Dunlop DZ03G 235/45R17 Hard compound semi slicks. They are a very light rim for their size... they came in at 7.9kg per rim, which is similar to TE37's in the same size. Pics: Fitted to the car: Condition notes: The rims have a few chips here and there, but look to be in very good condition. The tyres have a fair bit of life left in them (quite a few mm left), but please note that one tyre was accidentally over inflated on a track day and the centre received additional wear compared to the rest. The tyre is fine on the shoulders, but would suit being fitted to the rear for best performance. I am seeking $2200 $2100 for the set. 2. My old track rims (without tyres). They are quite an old design (came out in the late 90's), but a very classic white 5 spoke (always reminded me of the old Oz Racing wheels used in V8 Supercars). They are 17x8 +35. Pics: Condition notes: Rims are in average to good condition. Rims have some blemishes ie: the face appears to be slightly scratched on a rim or two, and there are a couple of chips here and there. Pics show the faults pretty well, and they come up great. Seeking $550 $500 $450 $400 (plus delivery if interstate).
  2. By only 10 months... Seriously, check dates of the last few posts
  3. Basically have a look at what tomei does with it's SR22DE genesis engines.. They achieve 250ps. Basically don't go too far with revs for an SR20, as the head doesn't like above 8000rpm without heavy modification. All you need for good SR20 NA power is good rods, a 12:1cr with the PISTONS (not dodgey mods such as shaving the head), and some big lift and decent duration cams (above 260deg) and a good tuning program... running a big airflow meter and throttle body the same size. Also is regards to the write up. There are definately other options to go. I've been researching for a bit to build a unique second car and have been thinking of a skyline NA. It should be considered that an RB30DE is not the only option. It is worth considering using the original RB25 block. If you have a Series 2 R33 or newer, you have a very good oil pump for example. You could use an RB26 crank, and stock RB25 pistons and get the same result as shaving the block 2mm, and gain much more rev capability. Of course the Crank would have to be balanced, and upgraded rods used, but if the harmonics are right, you could get 9000rpm+. Hydraulic lifters are really useless, and you'd be best off going for Tomei solid lifters, and 270deg cams with 10.2mm lift for best torque and power. As well as a stand alone ecu. With a 12:1 CR I can't see why a RB25/6 combo can't reach over 300 flywheel Hp. More on a gtr head or aftermarket plenum with big TB. GTR head has the option of even more aggresive Cams and lift up to 12.5mm in cases! There are 11.5mm lift 280deg cams too, but would make power (estimated) between 5,000-10,000rpm. Not many engines last above 9K rpm
