yeah, the way i do it is reset odo, fill up, check how many litres it took and divide that by the number of km's driven divided by 100 ie 50L and i got 420 km's 50 / 4.2 = 11.9 L / 100km's

I did a round trip to albany recently (~1300km's all up) in the r33... sitting on 115km/h with the odd squirt... and the first two tanks I got exactly 10.5L/100km's, then on the third tank on the way back with plenty of overtaking I got 520km's on 50.8litres which equals 9.77L/100km's ... ~!!! i was stoked. otherwise my average around town with normal driving is just under 13L/ 100km's

what on earth are you on about? 240 rwhp = approx 320 hp @ flywheel.

I think you can estimate engine HP from rwhp fairly easily If a stock r33 has 187kw @ the engine and roughly 140rwkw then that's a 25% drivetrain loss (25% of 187kw is 47kw) assuming the same drivetrain loss, if you have 240rwhp then you would have approx 320hp at the engine.

Well i installed a momo steering wheel a couple of weeks ago with no problems. but last night the HICAS light came on the dash after doing 100 down the freeway for about 15 minutes. it went off after turning the car off but i want to fix whatever it is. After reading the forums it seems like it's to do with the steering angle sensor on the steering wheel... so i've taken it all off again. The nissan logo is at the bottom of the sensor and it's the right way round so i assume it's all correct. also is the horn wire right? Can someone tell me if the boss kit is installed properly & if the horn wiring looks correct (i just connect up the white wire to the black wire) cheers!

195rwkw with my stock pump, stock turbo, 10psi

I have a particular exhaust/muffler question Currently on my R33 i have a canon style muffler (see pic). it has a nice deep burble and its pretty loud but i want something a bit quieter for the street. (obviously) i want to lose as little power as possible. i don't want it to be silent i just don't want it so loud. I'm looking at the X-force MP02 muffler as its an oval type so it will be quieter. Also it's cheap...Anyone have one of these on their skyline? I currently have 195rwkw (see sig for mods), would I lose anything going from a cannon to an oval type?

SECONDED!! that site is a friggin good no-nonsense resource.. but in short a) as someone already said how are you gonna know how much power you will have unless you get it dyno'ed b) if you highflow your turbo and increase the boost then the ecu is more than likely going to make the engine run rich so you're going to need some sort of ECU piggyback or replacement combined with a dyno tune to correct this.

i got around 12.5L/100km's on stock boost just city driving with the occassional squirt, now on 10psi I get around 13.5L/100km. Last tank i got 11.6L/100km's but that was cause half the tank was used on a hills cruise I imagine purely freeway driving you'd get 9-10L/100km which is fairly good.

i've only had my R33 GTS-T for a couple of months now and I am pretty good on the roads but in that two month period, for absolutely no reason at all, i've been tailgated numerous times (usually by commodore drivers) & just tonight some random f*ckwad in an ugly green Merc A-class decided to follow me as i was casually driving back from work and start flashing his lights at me, then as he passed he slow down and give me death stares like i was some serial killer or something. wtf.

G6E / xr6T makes 270kw Barra 4.0L DOHC DI-VCT TURBO I6 (270 kW 533 nm) * XR6 Turbo * G6E Turbo If you do your front/dump & cat next, then get an SAFC2/neo and a tune, you should be at around 200rwkw. That's around 275kw at the flywheel. Given the R33 GTS-T is around 350-400kg lighter then a Ford G6E, you should be able to beat one, no? (that's assuming the G6E is stock...)

should be easily possible, I have the mods in my sig and made 195rwkw on 10psi with stock fuel pump
