    32 Gtr Grinding Gear Change

    Sounds like it could be clutch related issue if its every gear and also engaging 1st. Get your clutch checked out.

    Does the clutch feel OK? Check clutch fluid level.

    Make sure the clutch hydraulics are in good conditon and getting good travel at the slave cylinder.

    You can check gear oil but i doubt it will be the cause.

    Thanks for the reply deren. I dont think it could be the clutch, press the clutch down and change gear is fine, but once i drive pass 1 hour thats when it happans to grind or hard to shift. After rest the car for 10min, back to driving again everything seem to be fine after 1 hour same sht happan again. :rofl:

    Hi peeps, my gtr gear change 1,2,3,4,and 5 has been grinding two days ago. Sometime i find it hard to get to gear one.

    I notice the grinding gear change only happans when i drive for more then 1 hour.

    So what could it be? do i need to change gearbox oil?

    if so, what kind of oil should i use and how do i change the oil.

    Farout so sorry to hear that.

    i didnt know about this news, i juz found out just now ;(.

    i rang up to justjap this afternoon to buy r32 gtr right hand orange indicator. They didnt sound too happy, also sounded very grumpy on the phone.

    Now i just found out why they was grumpy but i understand.

    i have a look out!!!

    i let my wife drive my Gtr all the time, but the problem is when she drive it,she feels a bit worry cuz she mite hit a guter. She said driving a gtr u feel that u have to make sure u drive it probaly cuz if u dont,and something goes wrong can be alot $$$$$.

    i trust her alot and the same time im worried that someone mite hit my car.$$$

    BTW is this Shell V-Power 98 or 100 RON?

    I use to run Shell then I went to Mobil Synergy 8000 then made the switch to BP Ultimate as suggested by my mechanic.

    I was told that too, shell feels a bit rough on take off... BP seems to be the overall best fuel out of the fuel companies...

    I guess whatever works best for your car...

    i use v power 98.
