  1. Oh I'm still doing it all myself, I just meant my own spanner twirling time.
  2. It's got a 3 inch trust system, including front Y pipe. I binned the compliance cat and put a massive one on it. Think it's a Metalcat. When the turbos get replaced I'll probably do the dumps too, since they'll already be unbolted and won't be any extra labour.
  3. Lots of stuff I would have never considered, thanks dude. Been using the little tool kit I keep in the car but I'm gonna have to go to my parents place in NSW and get my big tool box and jack before I can do much more.
  4. Yeah I'm just gonna go the cheaper option of upgrading the low mounts for now, just not looking forward to putting all those pipes back in later on LOL. So many of them...
  5. I'm thinking I won't get harrassed much on our cruises with the abomination in that pretty orange and black colour scheme to soak up the attention of the police.
  6. Got the urge to begin ripping the turbos off the R, got most of inlet side done and am beginning to wonder if a high mount single is a good idea. This metallic spaghetti system is really annoying lol.

  9. Looks like a set of -9s, may as well get them this time instead of wishing I got them later.
  10. Probably gonna get R34 N1 equivalents, high mount singles are scary cool looking but I'm lazy and low mount twins are a straight swap.
  11. I'm a firm believer in if it breaks, fix it so it won't break the same way again. Ceramic turbos are on my shit list forever now. It's either a set of high flows or low mount garrets. Won't be for a little while, gotta recover from moving interstate and christmas and get the house all sorted first. Girlfriend has a list.
  12. Going down the pipe was better than getting sucked back into the cylinders and chewing my pistons apart. Suprised they lasted the 7 years I've had it and god knows how long previously at 14psi.
  13. Stopped making boost, unbolted cat and found tiny pieces of ceramic turbine in the pipe.

  15. Finally moved in and internet connected, getting car moved out here next week so I can start ripping it apart ready to replace dead bits. If I see an orange and black 33 I'll be yelling 'abomination' and pointing.

  20. Having a really fast car is like having a 2 foot long penis. Great fun showing it off and bragging about it, but good luck finding somewhere to use it properly.
  21. The nismo AFMs I replaced my stockers with were a different internal diameter and required a retune of my power fc after installing. Wouldn't even idle, had to give it throttle while we backed it onto the dyno. Had your tune checked since installing? Because they are larger it will make your air/fuel ratio way out.
  22. My girls gonna be doing her 5 year veterinary doctorate at Gatton starting this year so I'm going to have to move to Toowoomba before years end. How hard is is to find work there and whats the rent situation like?
  23. 91' bistamisery lancer. Not fast enough. Hello turbo engine swap. Dad said it was too dangerous so I got a 95' celica. faster than the lancer but handled better. Got the must go faster bug again after 3 years and got 89' R32 GTR.

  25. What you want is a Civic type R. Better looking, more comfortable, practical, won't use tons of fuel even when driven hard and the best reason: VTEC YO!!! smash those dirty turbos.....
