What Intank Pump Will Deliver The Most Flow? Nismo?
SLYDA replied to Marko R1's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
you wont get more than 430HP or so outta an 040 so dont bother, you could look into a Bosch 023? Big brother of the 040.. If you can get twin 044's in tank thats prob your cheapest option if you fab something up yourself however you would want to be really careful that they both were sucking fuel from the bottom of the tank. I personally have an 040 as a lift pump a surge tank and 2 x 044's feeding to the front of the car with -8AN Braid. -
Same setup with stock manifold running a Z32 and PFC got me 350HP at the wheels at 18PSI, Same Injectors, Same Turbo, Same Fuel Pump, Splitfire Coils, howecer had a 3" front pipe comming from the HKS Split Dump, to a High Flow Cat into a 3" Exhaust. Hope that helps.

E85 Now Available At The Pump Gold Coast
SLYDA replied to GT33R's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Went there a week or so ago, pump was out of action and they had no idea when they were getting another shipment. -
Guys i have 2 R33 Shells, one has ABS one doesnt, The shell im rebuilding doesnt have the ABS system, considering i have all the sensors, wiring looms, pump etc etc (pretty much EVERY bit i need to convert the other one) is it worth putting into the Skyline im building? Car will make about 600HP or just under when finished. The ABS in my commodores has saved my ass a few times, im trying to work out if there are any reasons i shouldnt do it? apart from the time it will take.

+1, I'd love to see the condition of the internals of that engine, even at 10PSI with a GT2835, Standard injectors and a PowerFC running its base map my injectors were maxing 100% injector duty, this was back when i was a noob years and years ago, way to hardcore lean out your engine. Incredibly stupid to spend all that money and forget the MOST important part of your build that should have been done IMMEDIATELY upon changing the turbo, hes also right about the Z32.. the resolution of a Z32 AFM will be shit with a turbo that big you need something like a Microtech that uses a MAP sensor not a MAF sensor.

Hi, I have up for sale a Apexi PFC to suit Series 1 or 2 R33 GTST this comes with original box, hand controller and manuals (even though their in Japanese) It is in EXCELLENT condition as it has only ever been used in a car that barley ever gets driven (its actually spent the last year in my garage without an engine). The Power FC proudly stands as A'PEXi's answer to the constraints and limitations associated with most piggy-back style fuel controllers. The Power FC is a complete, stand alone, total engine management system capable of handling virtually anything thrown in its path. From multiple point fuel and ignition control and boost settings, the Power FC is capable of accommodating even the most demanding performance enthusiasts. It also comes with the Electronic Boost Control Kit in original box also ($427.88) http://www.nengun.com/apexi/power-fc-boost-controller-kit The Apexi Boost Control Kit is an optional kit designed to control boost through the Apexi Power FC. Simple connection to the Apexi Power FC allows the user to access a full self-learning boost controller. The Apexi Power FC allows up to 4 different boost presets for any stage of driving. The high grade solenoid valve is the same one used in our Apexi Super AVC-R boost controller. As with the Apexi AVC-R, the Boost control kit allows increased boost response and boost stability at high RPM's I have found brand new PFC's on an Australian site for ($1999.00) http://www.shiftperformance.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=91&products_id=696&osCsid=72a1bbf118f2776a4b13e05c7219dec0 Obviously these PFC's are extremely rare to find so for both items i am asking $1700, i am happy to list on eBay as a buy it now item however i will factor in the PayPal and eBay fee's into the listing price (postage via express post is included). I will hopefully get the time to take and upload some pictures tonight.

It will be at the wheels.. Do you really need to have an engine builder change the rods? I would have thought it would be as simple as marking the pistons and their direction and bearings and the way they were installed, unbolting the rods, removing the grudgeon pin sirclip and popping it out, bolting up a set of say eagle rods, making sure the bearings arn't scored, connect up the new rods and then use a piston ring compressor to get the pistons back into the block put the bearings back in and torquing it up correctally? The motor is less than 5000km/s old. -

I know in my other RB25 Engine there is a little circle and some numbers on the stock pistons so stock ones are easy to pick, im just not sure how to pick aftermarket standard pistons against forged. -

I'm not sure, Just found it on the net its a SR20 the guy said it had ARIES Forged Pistons and they looked identical from the top including the machining marks. The previous owner of mine told me it had Aries Forged pistons just didn't really believe him because he couldn't "find" the engine rebuild receipt when i went to pick it up.
