Hey guys, ive got a car that i need to get complied but im not exactly sure what needs to be done to it... its had the side intrusion bars done in the doors. its got all new tyres and will have new seatbelts and exhaust as well soon. changed the pod for original airbox. i think i have to change the fuel filler aswell. im looking to get the compliance done myself. the car falls under the 15 year rule aswell... it doesnt need child restraints as the car is only a two seater. i live in south australia and the car is a mazda rx7 fc convertible. (i know its not a skyline but good help is hard to find, so why not ask some import lovers any help would be appreciated, Thanks Brendan...

thanks man but this was after some full blooded runs at mallala so yeah i think it might be a dodgy stock gauge as the indicators went as well so yet to put the mechanical gauge on but if you can give some psi readings that would be great, so when i finaly get back to my car to check it out i know what im lookin for

I know this is a bit old but did you notice that the torque was 6oo nm thats a big load of shit if you ask me the sheet they gave you was from another car

can anyone confirm with me the dodgy oil pressure gauge on my S2 r33? I have a fresh built motor with the lot internaly but about half an hour nto my first outing at the track the indicators went funny and the oil pressure now sits on a big scary 0 at idle but isnt making any bad sounds (knocking as it should if the pressure was correct). When I rev it it only gets to just above the first bar on the gauge but all was working perfect before the indicators went oh and no fuse's are blown. also the oil pump is a tomei item for a RB26 to fit my 26 crank. waiting for my oil filter spacer to come so I can fit my mechanical oil pressure gauge. any one have a similar problem with the R33 S2 oil pressure gauge?

The death rattle doesnt realy bother me, ive got a few spare motors already, so if one goes bang, i laugh, then replace it . If the motor works well then i might even add my 20box... My daily driver is a 34GT-T so im just lookin for some laughs and to make ppl go wtf? when i take it to our local drag strip (1/8th mile track hahaha). and for the tip on the ECU's , i reckon that'l be the path i go down... the rx7 cooler is a series 4, i could always steal the 600x300x75 from my other skyline as its off the road at the moment anyway. as for the $50 turbo, you gotta love crackheads

Ive decided to go with the standard ecu because the motor already has the death rattles andi'll probably laugh when it dies. Do you know how many cc's the vlt injectors flow? also ive been thinking on maybe just a solder in chip for a vl-t in the standard ecu? I might end up running with a BA xr6-t cooler aswel, depending on how it fits up... im pretty much lookin at tarbinizing the car for under $1000 (including car price). Brendan

Hey guys, just wanting some ideas and info on turbo charging my R31 gxe skyline. So far i have: R31 GXE 5SPD - $600 R33 RB25 TURBO - $50 VL TURBO exhaust manifold - $50 BOSCHE 040 pump - (borrowed from my rb20det ARGH31) INTERCOOLER - choice between standard 32, rx7 or supra coolers. The plan is to run the standard ecu/injectors and run standard boost (7psi). im not realy too afraid to kill the motor as its clocked up 328,128k's as it is and runs like a peice of shit anyway. Also has anybody heard of using RB20DET injectors on the 30ET? i have a set available if its not to much trouble to use them in the mix... If anybody shows interest il post some pics of the process so they can see how dodgy and cheap ive made it
