By getting the VIN Number is the only way to be sure what year and model. It's got a full Bomex Bodykit, custom bonnet and what looks to be Drift Tek wheels.

All good! With just the VIN Number, that's all you're pretty much going to get, information wise. Unless you take a pic of the Blue Plate and post it here, I might be able to give more information. Did the car come with any log books / auction sheet? Unless you know who was the original owner of the car in Japan, we can only go by what came with the car. Even post pics of the car / engine bay here or PM me and we can have a look.

An exact Frame Number could not be found on the system but the closes we got was: R32 GTR V-Spec II N1! Nice

Engine wise, Base Model R32 GTR vs R32 GTR V-Spec + V-Spec II, there is no difference. V-Spec's came with Brembos and 17" BBS Wheels with 225 / 45 /17 Tires. V-Spec II, same as above but with Tires sizing of 245 / 45 / 17.

Will have to look at the Engine Block. Usually if the Block is embossed with "05U" = Standard. Embossed with "24U" = N1. Also check the turbo part numbers, from memory, R32 GTR N1 Engines came with Nismo Turbos, like the R32 GTR Nismo Editions. R32 GTR Nismo Turbo Part Number (14411-06U00). Might have to get someone on here to decode that engine number.

I see, Yeah that's right, if it does not have the number "8" or if there is a digit absent, meaning it is a V-Spec (non V-Spec II). And since the build date is Feb 1993, it indicates it is a V-Spec. V-Spec II are built from Feb 1994.

I see, looks like the precious owner got a very thorough paint job done and did the whole lot. In that case, check the Compliance Plate VIN and see if it matches with the VIN on engraved on the Firewall. Post the VIN that is engraved on the firewall in here and see how we go. And yes the Firewall will only have the VIN engraved on it.

Looks like just a custom paint job or someone tried to replicate Top Secret Japan Gold: | But it will never be accurate, as Top Secret do not specify a paint code for it and in the sunlight, it can look different in colour. What colour is his engine bay?
