  1. If ya not running HIGH boost dont worry about it too much. If its the HKS SSQ BOV they sound terrible. Install a plumback one if you want a BOV. Cuz thats what it does, plums-back the air pressure / Boost. If its not a plumback you will loose boost and get lag.
  2. Hmmm.... Don't think the HICAS has anything to do with the steering wheel... Well not that I know of, anyway... Maybe check out the HICAS fuse in the fuse box or something, thats all I can think of.
  3. Sure I'll see ya there and you can hand me the keys to the previous model of the STI and take it for a ride, sorry don't like the new one. What will you be doing for them? Thought u wanna be with Nissan. LOL And yeah... Ya think you can pull a few strings to get the keys to the GTR R35? If ya do I shotgun front seat! LOL

  5. 3D will always be big now. Video games and movies. Can you use Lightwave 3D and Maya? Just to name a few. There is still a market for 2D. Such as animation ie, Family Guy, Simpsons and Futarama but they at times they use some 3D animation but texture it with a 2D style / shell shade. Japanese anima the ultima in 2D animation. Esentals = Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator. Macromedia (I think has been bought out by Adobe???) Flash and Director. If you can program then you could pretty much make games and websites but need a graphics person but if ya good at all that then ya pretty much set. Employers want some who is Multi talented, so they can save cost on hiring ppl. I did Graphic and Multimedia design but I was always doing the graphc side of things and leaving the programing to the programers who are just nuts LOL! Create a strong folio and have one online for ppl to view.
  6. Check to see if there is a Power steering bottle at the rear of ya car? R32 GTRs have it. If u all have it too, just pop the boot and on the right hand side there is a cover you can take off and you will see the bottle.
  7. Did you check the Power Sterring level at the Back. If not look in the boot and on the right hand side there should be a cover you can remove and you can see the bottle and top it up. Thats for R32s tho, R33 might be different. Also check the HICAS Fuse in the fuse box, some ppl take it out to make the car RWD. Although a lot of ppl don't like the HICAS it is still noticable. When my light came on and I started to turn in car parks, I could feel the steering alittle heavier as if there was a loss of movment. Top the rear power steering fluid up and it was back to normal.
  8. Leave the catback on and change the dump pipe to a larger one, 3" pipe should be fine. Install a FMIC but nothing too big other wise you can loose power. Upgrade ECU Install a boost controller to run a few PSI higher but if ya wanna run HIGH boost you will have to upgrade internals. Another thing is lightweigh the flywheel. No power gain but you can take off quicker. BTW if ya wanna get anal about cooling, after installing your FMIC you can install water jets to spary onto the intercooler once the car hits boost to soak out the heat on the FMIC. Mind you topping up water will be frequent. LOL! OR install a Supercharger for low down revs / and turbos take over when boost kicks in. = Thats a BIG job and mainly for race/High performance applications and it has been done before in Japan. R32 GTR Supercharger Twin Turbo.
  9. No matter what exhaust you put on a RB its gonna be LOUD! :laughing-smiley-014: I got a BLITZ N1 Nur Spec catback exhaust system and YES you can hear me driving. 3" to 3.5" pipes are fine. About that flicking switch you asked, I have seen an exhaust system that does that. I was told its called a "Butterfly System". Pull the leaver up and it drops a plate into you exhaust pipe (Basicaly restricting the air flow to lower the noise) then push the leaver down and it retracts the plate to open up the exhaust again. Also I think I saw it on one of my car mag, I'l check it out and see if I can find it.
  10. You will always get a bit of wheel spin, I get wheel spin just manovering my GTR up the drive way. Work the clutch and accelarator, so you don't bog and or wheel spin. Launching the car will def get wheel spin. After I take off and floor it on my GTR, shift to 2nd the car can kick out abit, make a chirp noise which is a bit of wheel spin. Basicly the car catching up to itself. If you want get some better traction tyres but if its for everyday driving not to worry too much. I had Yokahama Advan E1's, abit hard needed alittle warm up time. Now I get Kumos little softer bit better over all.
  11. Hell yeah! Looks way better, even a wingless R34 can look nice with that bidy kit you got on but if its the GTR R34 spoiler you got its a must have!
  12. 1st you might wana whipe everything down with a damp cloth and a bucket of water. Then if there is any staining use some degreser on another cloth and rub it in then whipe down with water again. Don't bother going to the car wash and sparying that high pressure hose all over ya engine, you can easily F**k ya engine up. Don't risk it.
  13. Its also the "Under tray" where it stop stones, dirt ect from flicking up to ya engine. You don't wana rock fly up and hit ya engine.
  14. The R33 GTR used the same turbos as the R32 GTR = Twin Garrett T28 Turbochargers. These could be the specs. Someone correct me if Iam wrong. TURBINE SPECS: T28 .86 A/R Housing 79 Trim Wheel COMPRESSOR SPECS: T3 .60 A/R Housing 60 Trim Wheel Compressor Flow: 33 LB/MIN internal wastegate included ???
  15. No need to risk scratching ya windscreen. Use a cloth and Metho and rub the metho in and it will come off. I used it when I peeled a clear window tint on me door windows and it evaporates off and you can use some Windex to give it an overall clean after.
  16. Methylated Spirits, its a window cleaner and evaporate right off.
  17. LOL its cool buddy, calm down. I didnt say anything negative about the Mustang, I was just refering to the Yanks how they praise it and guess kinda got side tracked about GTR vs Mustang. Pretty much intierly different cars.   18. Just under $4000 all fitted ready to go. Also I had a larger dump pipe fitted and a high flow cat. If ya R33 is a daily driver then either switch it back to the stock plate or put a heavy duty single plate in.
  19. I had a HKS Twin Plate in my GTR, it came with it and I thought wow sweet! BUT It made this 'tearing' sound when I push the clutch pedal down, thats the 2 plates rattling and thats normal. You can't ride the a twin/triple, the more you do the more you wear it out. Twin/triple plates are designed so you can launch you car at 4000, 4500, 5000 RPM if not higher. Its either IN or OUT. So race applications. If you still want the twin/triple plate, you can get a 'milder one' to give you abit more flexibility for everyday driving, but still no good in the long run. When my HKS one was worn out its was burnt, you coulds see bits of clutch/ash all around it. Twin/triples are not designed for everyday use so I went back to a stock Nissan GTR R32 clutch, which my mechanic ordered from a NSW local Nssan dealer and the flywheel had to come from Japan, which took about 2 weeks or less. Installed everything, tighten up the gearbox and the nightmare was over.
  20. subie that looks great! I would have kept those white rims on, eventhough the R33 GTR rims look nice on the R32 GTR. My car is Gunmetal Grey and I got white Volks on. Ppl say it looks sweet. If you where to paint it, go white again if not leave it silver. Or you could do a bronze colour, but Im not sure how well R33 GTR rims will look in bronze. I would not suggest black cuz ya cars a dark colour already. Black looks good on white cars tho.

  22. Yeah I see ya point, be interesting to see if the 2 do a comparison. If thats the Shelby Mustang GT500KR (King of the Road) you got pictured there, its got 410kw, extra 57kw over the GTR but will have to see how well it can match the handling of the GTR's ATTESA E-TS all wheel drive with its Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC-R). Plus if we wanna get picky then we should be putting the GT500KR up against the V-Spec / EVO version of the GTR, (Thats if it will be released...) -Base Model GTR vs Base Model Mustang -Whatever higher spec GTR vs GT500, Saleen, Shelby Quick Question BTW Do you see the Mustang selling here in AUS? So far I have only seen one driving down Russel Steet in the city. It was a champagne gold colour. The rest are 1966 models around most of them converted some still LHD. I asked a Customs Broker about ppl importing USA cars into AUS, he said hardly, by the time with all the tax, paper work, conversions and what-not, it probley not really worth. IMO.
  23. Yeah not bad, suprisingly it still looks or keeps the hard lines of the older model. Talking to some ppl in the USA this is just another Mustang riced up and they drop their superchargers in and say it faster than the Nissan GTR R35. HA! ok, ok wateva... Also the knightrider mustang = rice, how many spoiler / vents do you want? Plus by the time I spend the money on converting it I could get something else better IMO.
