  1. I see, I guess depends on how far you want to take it with the dealership but I guess, just fix it up slowly, getting it back to how you want it. Unless you got the time and money for a full rebuild, then you will know for sure it's all good. http://www.nissanfast.info/carinfo.html "Put your VIN code in the "VIN code" box in FAST" - As simple as that sounds
  2. So that was you! You GTR looks mint! I saw you post something about buying one and you finally got one again. BTW, I did give you the thumbs up as you passed, if you didn't see
  3. You forgot the "C", should be BCNR33... All good!
  4. Correct. Unless you can manage to find the paper work from the Nissan Dealer in Japan from where you GTR came from... They might have a record...
  5. No, the blue plate will not have the engine number on it. Unless you know for sure the engine you got in at the moment is from another GTR and have the build plate for that GTR too... You'd assume it's just modified from the previous owner.
  6. Engine Number is usually on the side of the block. Not on the Blue Plate... If that is what you are thinking..?
  7. Check it out and see how you go
  8. It's just Brembo calipers that make the difference, along with a sticker and BBS Wheels for a V-Spec. Not original engine or had the RB26 been modified from previous owner?
  9. Ok thanks! The complications came up with a few results, one saying it was a Base Model and the other saying it's a V-Spec II. But you Model Number confirms it to be a base model R32 GTR, built in March 1994.
  10. Complications in the VIN. You got the Model Number too? It's the one starting in "KBNR32..."
  11. I see, thanks for that. How many Km's has your GTR done (Speedo) VS the amount of Km's the "Used Engine" has done..? Do you know if the timing belt has been changed? Any stickers..?
  12. All good. You got the factory Brembo calipers?
  13. Also, do you have the VIN engraved on the firewall?
  14. Well after further looking into both the VIN's you posted, they both came up as (July) 07 / 1991 models... Wouldn't surprise me about the engine swap, it happens in Japan... Still post a pic of the VIN's and lets have a look.
  15. Both those numbers had complications. Post a pic of you build plate and let us have a look.
  16. If the rumour were to be true, why fucking bother! $600,000, that's Supercar money, not some ugly Junk. At least you'd buy a R35 GTR or the Nismo Edition.
  17. Wow! That's interesting and left hand drive looks so funny... Cause I am so use to seeing right hand drive Skylines Good on you for doing it on your own with your friend. HKS always do a good job. Looks like it's making some decent power. I prefer the twin setup myself but see how you go. Thanks!
  18. Nice! Who built and tuned it? What's the power out put? Left hand drive?!
  19. You don't see a Deep Marine Blue coloured R33 GTR V-Spec all that often.
  20. Yeah all good You got the front and rear Brembo Calipers too?
  21. Grade = 260RS = RB26DETT (Autech) I always thought all 260RS were all Autech's..?
