Hi Troy, After we have been speaking with cams it has been ruled that we will be using the semi slick tyre list that can be founf on their website. So if they are on this list no worries you can use them. But if they are not then unfortunately no you can not.

It is EMG doing it which means HPI, Zoom, Fast Fours, hot4s and depending on how many holdens and fords enter then street commodores and street fords may do a few pages on it in their mags aswell. There will be alot of coverage in alot of different mags and hopefully some form of DVD aswell. -Nathan

I'm not 100% on what the story is with this Andrew I would suggest you email Nathan as he will be able to answer that because he is taking care of all the media side of things. Cheers -Nathan

Fast fours are looking after all the media side of things so your best option for that is to email nathan@hot4s.com and ask him as he will be the one giving them out not us. Cheers -Nathan

Even with the rain Saturday did not end up being to bad. Gave Mark & Russ plenty of time on the track to themselves to get to know the lines. Considering it was their first ever time at OP it will be very interesting to see what happens as they get more track time there. Was good to meet everyone who was there ( Steve, Chris, Wizard & Wayne ) Hopefully cant wait to see you guys out on track. However I think Wizard has an upper hand after speaking with him he has plenty of exp at OP. I hopefully will be making my way out their on thursday once again to help the boys and see what they can do time wise on the full circuit.

As it stands for the moment Scott the imports are slower. However I dont think we really have proper times for most of the imports on the GP Circuit at Oran Park. You also have to remember that V8 Supercars run on full slicks. I am sure if you put some o our fastest cars on full slicks they would be very close to V8 Supercar times. I hope you can organise some sponsors to get over here it would be good to have some friendly overseas rivalry. -Nathan

I may have a surprise entry from NZ aswell who may be right up there. And after Steve's efforts on sunday in a stock turbo Evo 9 in his well prepped wrx he may be closer to the top aswell he is crazy. Also Cameron Dyal in his Evo 8MR should be up there. This is exactly what we are hoping for, a top 10 that is so close it is imposible to pick

I agree but each to their own. The feeling I got on Sunday was that they wer enot over caring about their times they were more interested in the cars setup. Anyway whos coming to Oran Park on Saturday?

If you spend some time racing with BEL or at events they compete in you will get to know how they work. They always run at half pace for the first half of the day testing their setup etc then in the last 2 sessions of the day they decide to start to set fast times. they are known for this they did it at all the Circuit Battle events, run at 6000rpm all day untill the last session then run full noise in the last session and go as fast as they possibly can. Gives people false hopes about how fast their cars are and how "slow" the BEL car is. It is a good way to catch people off guard. -Nathan

Oh and Oran Park are having a hand timed event this saturday if anyone would like to attend. Drivers Briefing will be at 8:30 racing is to start at 9. It is the South Circuit only and pay on the day. It will be run under that Superlap Format by this i mean 20 minute sessions etc. If anyone is interested I have an entry form and the supp regs for it. It will be $200.

Unfortunately the Tuesday is out Just got an email from Oran Park saying someone has booked it for the day.

The Friday practice is out unfortunately as the track is already fully booked. HOWEVER if we have enough interest I can get it on the Tuesday the week before so that would be July 1st. It depend son how much interest we get as to wether this will go ahead or not. Oh and I have replied to your PM Steve.

Is this going to be a full circuit or purely based for hillclimbs? as it does look very narrow.

What you will find is that most of the cars are not workshop cars. Yes on the list they are listed as it but the vehicles were just built there but are privately owned and we do not have the owners full details so we have keft them listed with the workshop name there. I will know how we will go with numbers after this weekend as there is a mini test day happening to workout format etc.

Yes they wer eonly out there for testing on the weekend and they were planing to go for a fast time in their last session but they never got that session. I was a bit disappointed about that as I was interested to see what the car was capabale of in its current state. Also a bit disappointed that Cameron ( Orange Evo 8MR ) from QLD had issues early in the day and didnt get a chance to put in some fast laps as I think that car will be quite fast now also.

I was talking at the wheels John. It is making 280ish at the wheels I believe but I understand it is going to recieve more in the near future.
