  1. John - It is going to be a 20minute session most likely
  2. The new GTR's come with Bridgestone RE070A's from the factory I believe.
  3. Wayne? I am not in the office but off the top of my head for Clubsprint Class I think your best options will be : Yokohama - AVS Sport Bridgestone - RE070A, RE-01R Falken - RT615, RT215 Federal - 595RS Toyo - R1R Michelin - Direzza Sport Z1 Dunlop - Pilot Sport PS2 Have I missed any Andrew? Cheers -Nathan
  4. Haha. We have to get throught this one first lol. But dont worry you are on my email list |
  5. Sorry about that I did see your question then the phone rang sorry. If we fill up the list then yes you proberly will miss out. You are better off filling it out if you are interested then once the Official Entry Form comes out you decide you are not interested let us know as I am sure we will be able to fill the spot. CHeers -Nathan
  6. haha. No worries That list gets updated everytime I get another form through. We are filling up very quickly I get the feeling that the next event will have to be a 2day event.
  7. You are on there. http://www.superlap.com.au/entryopen.html
  8. Which list are you reffering to?
  9. John my friend you are in Open Class you may do what you like with your car so long as it stays within the guidelines
  10. Yes we did know that. But we have designed the rules around Japanese cars not anything else as this is where our main aim for this event is- the japanese car scene as you will see by our sponsors. It would be unfair to expect people such as we have involved already to benefit from a field of porsches or the like. Cheers -Nathan
  11. Ahhh ok I thoguht you had selected Open due to being 2.2L which would have been fine in Clubsprint Class
  12. The Renault is fine I am guessing that it will need to be in Open Class tho. The corvair however is a rear engine'd flat 6 yes? Cheers -Nathan
  13. phunky I am unaware as to why you have entered Open Class? Is your car stripped? or have carbon body panels? no cat?
  14. The Kumho V70A has a UTQG Rating of 50 so is not useable for Clubsprint entrants. But the Federal 595RS's are 180 so they are fine. Cheers -Nathan
  15. I know of atleast one who would bring a Lambo. Gallardo for Open Class but at the moment he is bringing an Evo as I said no to the Lambo at first haha. Cheers -Nathan
  16. We would like to see it mainly Japanese vehicles which is the reason for the no rear 6 Cylinder or above rule to rule out the millions of porsches which would take over the event. A good point has been raised by a few people about ferraris and lambo's being able to enter. I am fine with that mainly because I can count on 1 hand how many lambo's and Ferrari's will enter whereas I would not be able to count with both hands how many porsches we would end up with. We will see a few Holdens and fords and some Euros in there to mix things up and keep you Jap racers honest The vehicle must have legal registration papers for the state it is registered in. Remembering though all vehicles in Clubsprint Class MUST have a Catalytic Conveter and a FULL interior. Only if the car is registered and has a full interior. Unfortunately Open Wheelers are not allowed to enter. Cheers -Nathan
  17. The Tyres are pretty open now. There are alot for you to choose from. On most websites you should be able to find the UTQG rating on each tyre. If you are unsure shoot me a pm as I have a list and should be able to let you know if it qualifies. The rules are not 100% yet as we are still waiting to hear back from cams. But when it comes to vehicle modifications they are pretty much set in concrete. Cheers -Nathan
  18. The good news is after talking to some people in the know with tyres ( thanks Andrew aka Snowman ) we have finalised the Tyre rules. Clubsprint Class "All vehicles entering the Superlap Clubsprint Class must run on Tyres with a UTQG rating higher than 100. Each entrant will have to advise us on their entry form which tyre they are going to use. If the tyres fitted to your vehicle have a UTQG rating under or equal to 100 you will be moved into the Open Class" Open Class "All vehicles entering the Superlap Open Class must run on R compund Semi Slick Tyres. The only semi slick tyres not to be used in Open Class are: Hoosier R6, Hoosier A6, Kumho Ecsta V710 & Avon Tech R-A"
  19. Yes we are hoping to run one in QLD in the near future so long as this first event is a success We are going to narrow down the tyre list for Clubsprint Class very soon we just have to sit down and discuss it. Cheers -Nathan
  20. Spectators are welcome it will be $15 at the gate. Cheers -Nathan
  21. I entered you into Clubsprint Class that is the correct class for you yes? Cheers -Nathan
  22. Was that you who I already had on my email list?
  23. Hi Guys, That form on the site is only a form to get your name on a spot. The official entry form is on its way from cams and I am hoping to see it by the end of this week *fingers crossed* The car type is ust referring to GTR or GTS-T and car group is which class you want to run in. Cheers -Nathan
  24. I have just put it on nissan silvia but apart from that I think it is all so far so feel free to post where ever you like and if they have questions my email is plastered all over the site. Cheers -Nathan
  25. Hi Dane, All scruteneering will be done by cams. As far as I am aware majority of the Japanese roll cages do not pass cams regulations. This is one of the things we are waiting to hear back from cams about. As soon as we hear back from them all the rules will be finalised. Cheers -Nathan
