thanks for the reply its a situation that i have to convert from a manual to auto(for compliance cannot get it complied as a 5 speed it was converted in japan and not factory so to get it complied has to be auto i know its insane thing to do but its the only way ) i was i just really wanting to find out were each connection thing on the trans went i know with all the other stuff it was not removed just taped up and yes i think gearbox out to see whats there it seems to be above the trans wills

More details on the car have a stagea here that i may part with before its complied , the story with the car is its a 5 speed that cannot be complied as is and must be returned to Automatic before it can be done and due to work i cannot see it being done soon and thought somone may be interested as is,if not i will change it over and comply, it its located in southern adelaide details on the car are 1997 RS4 (manual or auto lol) 135,000km twin sunroofs Stagged offsett 17x7.5 and 17x9 rims Body kit (front bar ,rear bar, side skirts) aftermarket upper control arms 4 spot calipers on the front (either gtr or Z32 unsure) been told it has LSD diffs (unconfirmed as of yet) nice unmarked interior has small spot of rust of under mirror driver side other side none at all over all a nice clean car the manual conversion has all the correct parts that are hard to find like correct console etc from what i understad the converion back to auto is easy have a trans lined up from another SAU member if need he has most of the parts. i have all the correct paperwork and can help with getting it complied (it must be done in melborne thats all arranged) i am in no rush to sell and and not real sure i want to,but i can see it sitting around for a while before i get to it looking at $7000 for it no stupid offers photos at http://gallery.me.com/rohanguest any questions please PM me thanks for looking

i forgot to add i maybe look at on of the options selling it uncomplied but it would need auto put back in for compliance details are 1997 5 speed pearl white twin sunroofs full aftermarket body kit, aftermarket grill 17 inch wheels (staggered mesh style) 17x9 17x7.5 big exhaust etc etc would look at around $6500 as is if i go in that direction but unsure just yet

if its a auto not a problem they are trying there hardest to work somthing out but i am going in direction to convert it back to auto as you said just got to get the parts for the right price

hi guys i have a problem witha S1 stagea i just imported is a auto been converted to 5 speed, since it was done not factory my compliance guys cannot comply since it was done non factory which is fair enought they have evidence for S2 5 speed but not S1 no what do i do part it out (is a real nice car and is 2 nice to do has body kit etc ) or change back to auto and problem fixed i have never converted one to 5 speed so dont know how involved that would be and how hard it would be to convert back to auto or try and sell it uncomplied to some who knows that it would need to be changed back to auto before compliance any ideas would be greatly appriciated wills
