As for the odometer not lining up straight - i don't think anyone's odometer lines up straight at 99 000km's cos it's just about to tick over. I'm not 100% on this but I reckon it should line up perfectly straight at either 100 000 kms or 155 555 kms

Just thought I'd check and see if any cars come around before I contact mark hocking. I'm after an black or white, manual r32 gts-t, around the ACT area. Looking for cars mint or very slightly tastefully modified, maybe exhaust and air filter but not much else pls. Lowish (<120,000) k's preferably, must be currently registered and able to supply rwc. I'd be looking to pay around the 10mark, but a bit of leeway given. Guys i realise this is extremely specific, I just thought i'd let this thread hang for about a month, and see if I can find anything local, before I import. Cheers, Ryan

My daily is a 4age corolla. (i think these were in sx corollas 1990-1995ish). Fuel consumpetion about 7-7.5L /100km. 1.6 litre engine with 100kw. (beat that bmw?) Or put the 20valve engine in and watch that figure jump up a few more kw's. One of the most reliable engines too, I know people that have done easily 400,000kms on the one engine before getting it rebuilt. Parts are pretty plentiful too, downsides are it being fwd, and they might be older/cheaper -> more k's then u are looking for.
