  1. Correct. Very effective method of repair when there is no access. I have seen some tradies who actually cut and drill the damaged section off then repair it and once all in the right shape weld the section back on. I have never seen the point in doing it that way when welding a plate on and using a slide hammer works just as well and is quicker. Another good way is using a pin puller, it's just and electrode that welds to the panel and you use a lever to pull the dent out. Sometimes you need to weld the plate on first then use a pin puller to finish pulling the dent out. Then a light skim of vanishing cream and all is good. Will also add whenever I weld a plate on or use the pin puller I always/try to squirt rust proofing into the area where I had been working on
  2. Got a cruise coming up in a few weeks time. Post up if you are keen
  3. I brought my Vspec 1 a almost 1 year ago for $25500. Almost completely stock (with boost restrictor still fitted) beside the Nismo strut braces, Nismo 3 inch exhaust, N1/Group A side skirts and white Nismo center guage dials. 82k on the clock when I got it now has 88k was my daily car untill about 3 months ago. Now just sits in the shed hidden away and comes out once/twice a week to keep the battery charged, am going to buy a trickle charger in a couple of weeks
  4. Yep I'll be around tomorrow, Just swing us a message
  5. Prepsol or maybe even a clay bar. I have access to both Clint.
  6. Little quite in here as of late. Anyway EOI at this stage, planning a cruise with the final destination being my place for a BBQ. Want to have at least 10 people before planning any further
  7. http://imageshack.us/g/823/img0583dpf.jpg/ link to my photos
  8. Uploading photo's I took. Will link when uploaded. Also have 50 minutes of cruise and parade lap video. Anyone with a bit of skill in video editing wanna do and edit? If not i'll do a pretty average edit and upload during the week
  9. Meet-up time and place finalized for the charity cruise on Sunday. PM me for details if your going to attend
  10. I was waiting for someone to say the white one
  11. Which GTR are you talking about lol.
  12. Yes defiantly need to work out a meet up point. Which macca's near your's were you thinking Clint? Meet up time will be 6:30 for a 7 departure. Usually take me around 2 hours to get from here to Aspley ( my aunty lives near there). I know a good route to get there but could be a hassle (depending on numbers) getting across Brisbane to Aspley. Or we could see if the Ipswich guys are keen to meet up somewhere and convoy to Aspley with them
  13. Also chasing BOV's in working condition as the ones i have now are no good
  14. Wasn't it on the 23rd of this month?
  15. Hey all I am looking for a bit of the plumb back for the BOV's. What I am looking for is the bit the goes between the BOV's and the piping that's under the intercooler. Let me know what you got. Thanks Chris
  16. Quite in here. How many of you Toowoomba guys are keen for the charity cruise in a few weeks time?
  17. Yep still on, not much point postponing it again when we will only get the same numbers
  18. Cruise is on tomorrow. PM me for details if your interested.
  19. +1 Nothing wrong with them in stock form. Mine is stock motor and turbos, still has boost restrictor fitted aswell.
  20. Don't rush into buying one. I spent over 2 years looking at 32's before I found mine (but that was mostly due to p plate laws). Make sure the engine has good compression, mine was all within 1-2 psi of each other and have not had a problem with anything engine wise in the 10 months that I have owned it (maybe it's because most people reckon I drive it like a nanna). If there is a turbo timer fitted, it does indicate that the previous owner has tried to look after the turbos. I have only had 2 problems with my 32 since owning it. The gearbox started making some unwanted noises (which was fixed under warranty from the car yard I brought it from) and the old Jap battery dying when winter hit. Other then that I know things are going to break eventually, but will just get them fixed when they break. They are a great car to own and drive. I was the same, wanted one for about 8 years before getting one and haven't been happier, It was my daily for 8 months and every time I drove it brought a silly smile across my face, and even now when I get home from work and see my 32 I still get a silly smile across my face (yes I am forever alone). As for taller people fitting in 32 I am roughly 6ft 6, well that was last time I measured my height which was 2 years ago (and I turn 21 in a few weeks so I bloody not get any taller) and I have had 3 others in the GTR one night and we all fitted. Just find a nice one and take good care of it and you will be fine.
  21. Yeah I am keen, Yeah there might be if not just go in eyes closed arms swinging
  22. Clint, one weekend I have free we can have a go at fitting them, got everything we need to fit them at work, can pinch a good compressor off one of the work mates who live around the corner from my joint and do it at my place. Only if you want, from what I can tell shouldn't be harder then fitting normal suspension
  23. If your interested we have a cruise happening this coming Sunday, your more then welcome to come along. Just PM for more details. The invite goes out to all you Toowoomba guys if your keen for a cruise PM me
  24. Yep, It was a shocking turn out, way to many holdens and fords, few years time Jambo will be open to all cars the way its going
