yeah engine has mint compression and oil pressure etc, hmmm now im a wee bit concernd, i did tell him to do a conservative tune, concentrate on torque, not KW?????? anyone else think this is a bit low, i was kinda stoked?????

holly crap, that some sweet power! um no just a rolling dyno, but my mechanic said he was tuning it in full 4WD, i kinda thought he would have used a HKS split, and tuned it in rear wheel, but im probably not knowing what i was talking bout? would that drain a bit more power?????

hello, well after about 8 months of my R33 draining every last cent out of me i 'almost' have it back (this is why the banks in the USA are going bankrupt, from funding my engine modifications ) car still sitting on dyno, getting a 'safe' tune which includes; 2860-5, 770's, link g4, profect B, custom dumps, manifods, nismo pump, FMIC, cam gears, hks twinplate etc etc......has made 240RWKW at 10lbs, going to be running her to about 18lbs as the engine is unopened, pretty stoked so far as this is about what it ran at 15lbs (power fc, cam gears, exhaust, pods) will update final power/torque etc when finished, hope this is a help to anyone wanting to mod there car? cheers robbie

hey there, im just about to get my r33gtr back (after bout 8 mths ha) standard internals, 2860-5's, dumps, bigger FMIC, injectors, pump, cam gears, profect B, new released LINK G5 with map sensors etc, exhaust, filters, twin plate etc etc....have the boost set to 18lbs max, rev limiter 7400rpm will post up results soon.....tuned for torque, tuned for fun

hmm, i ran into this problem with my r33gtr, had 285x18x30 car was tramlining, so the tyre shop 'professionals' put a 255x35 up front. i drove of and the car was putting all the power up to front diff (torque split was going to max) they put original tyres back on, fixed the problem, but the gauge still flicks up momenteraly on take off, even when driving slow.....so not to sure whats happened to it? even using a 30 series will still cause this problem with a smaller width tyre oh yeah remember to check with tyre shop the 'actual' rolling height of the tyre sizes, remembering that even though the tyres (with different widths) are both '30 series' etc it is still 30% of the width of the tyre, so there will be a small profile difference in rolling height.....so for me matching profile sizes didnt mean crap like nisskid said check rolling diameter this was my mare of an experience, maybe it was just my crazy cash pit playing up?ha robbie

hey, sorry for the tard question, but what is flat changing? and for drag racing is it a good idea when gear changing to give the throttle a quick bump to keep revs constant to help syncros? any advice would be appriciated

hey hey, so i understand why car manufacters 'detune' cars, that 'gentlemans agreement' of 207kw, restrictive exhaust, small injectors, turbos etc. why wouldnt they just sell the cars with all the mods; maybe along the lines of; GTSS turbos, dumppipes, decent size injectors, decent fuel pump, i mean these add ons wouldnt cost that much more to sell on the car, but for us to upgrade costs thousands, sell the car with these bits, a restrictive exhaust and bugger all boost, i mean after all people do is change them all anyway, or is it a way for the car manufactures to make a killing of us, selling us aftermarket parts?

hey there, just a question, ive read so much about the oil problems RB engines have, these cars arnt cheap to but, so much technology goes into development of these machines, and there seems to be about 6 problems with the oil side that sydneykid lists, why the hell have they not developed a better system of oil supply when testing their cars? or maybe nissan should have hired someone with a brain (sydneykid) to do the most critical part of a car engine????????

hey all, need a little advice please, r33 gtr, with standard suspension. i want to lower the car about 1-1 1/2inch. the car is used on the street mainly, so i dont want rock hard suspension, i dont do much track work, so amazing handling isnt what i need. my problem is i dont want to lower with lowered springs because still want to maintain traction when drag racing (prob about 2-3 times a year) so would i be right in saying getting adjustable shocks? so i can have it low, but a soft setting and raise it up for drag racing, have about odd 380rwkw.....cheers for any help

hey my power fc did it also, light throttle doing about 60 kph or sitting on 110 kph, light throttle, hesitate/pause every 10 min of driving or so......
