it sounds like the thieves are watching the carpark, maybe one of thier mates who works in the mall there are letting them know when a nice car with no alarm turns up?, imagine how many cars are getting stolen, if people on this forum are loosing there cars this quickly there must be heaps getting stolen, obviously the mall dosent care, car theft is probably the last thing the police care about, put a bait car there, wait for them to turn up......bing bam boom, hope you find your car mate........

hey, if you have the yellow fadded look on the lens of your headlights, try some toothpaste and a dry cloth, then clean off with a damp cloth......sweet

hey there, just wondering how well the standard oil pressure gauge on the r33 gtr works? have heard they dont work too good. just getting some engine work done and was thinking maybe getting a aftermarket one to keep an eye on the original oil pump, make sure i dosent go to sleep while on boost, ha any suggestions on a good gauge as ive heard some are not very accurate....cheers

hey cool thanks, just a bit worried, my tuner is aiming for about 380kwaw (rolling dyno), with standard internals, 170ks on the engine, hes a real well known tuner, i think from reading all the feedback i should be aiming for about 320

hey r33 gtr power fc, cam gears, exhaust, filters, 170k 1 bar still on ceramic turbos, 240kwaw, 1.2 bar 280kwaw.....running quite rich,maybe i have freak standard turbos......next week putting on 2860s......sweet, will let you no condition of turbos when they come off haha

hmmm, yeah was just thinking that your pods are drawing hot air to the intercooler then into the engine, of course the intercooler will cool it, but if they where drawing colder air into intercooler (say 20deg cooler outside engine bay) this would boost performance (colder air denser etc)????? what you think?

sorry wasnt sure if the temp sender was in engine bay or another part of intake/engine

hey sorry cant help about braided lines, but i have just purchased also those turbos, running stock internals, 770cc injectors, nismo fuel pump, elctronic boostcontroller, power fc, pod filters, cam gears, dump pipes, exhaust etc, etc....just interested what power figure you are aiming for etc.......cheers robbie

umm.......no on the bridgestone, just because of the tracking problem, maybe a 285 in another tyre may be ok? im going 255 proxes 4 to fix tracking problem.......

hey just wondering where where abouts the temp gauge is in the engine bay for the power f.c? im guessing it should be around the air filters? my car is noamally 40degC in engine bay with outside temp about 25degC driving car at 80KPH, do you guys agree with the call on 'for every 1deg of air temp drop 1% increase of power at the flywheel'? if so would be good to get some cold air around the old pod filters, maybe thats why the cold air box can be better for performance? any thoughts.........

hmmmm.....i bought my gtr with bridgestone so3 285/30/18 on it, car tracks badly, quite dangerous to drive......hold your breath, these tyres cost NZ$1060 each........so selling them and going for some toyo t1r sound like the go....ha

hmm..talking to robbie ward (RIPS gtr specialist check youtube under rips) and spec performance (cars always feature in performance car magazines) they all reakon that the stock engine can handle way more then 350awkw without needing cam/head ,work on stock internals???? any thoughts????? i dont want to stuff my engine, but these guys highly regarded mechanics.......

oh dam, those turbos sound sweet, i guess when the engine gets a rebuild maybe the 2860's will be sweet for higher boost? i just got these turbos brand new for a real good price........

hey everyone...just would like to put the question out there, maybe get some feedback on this topic. r33 gtr at the moment im running power fc, exhaust, droppipes, cam gears, podfilters, 240awkw. going on the car is garrett 2860's, tomei dumppipes, bigger fuelpump, 770 injectors, greedy profect b 2,tripple plate clutch....my mechcanic said 370awkw is what i can get, but seen my engine has done 160k's that power figure is a bit high.....i discussed alot lower awkw, but more torque....i was thinking maybe around the 320-330awkw would be better for the engine (engine in mint condition high compression, no knocking or noises yet) any suggestions would be great.....cheers robbie

hey there, i was looking at getting dump pipes for my rb26, they will be coming of garrett 2860's, do all brands fit? has there ever been a test to see which ones give best power? any recomendations would be helpfull......cheers robbie
