I think the guy solved the problem, hence his post. It was boost cut was still set at 13.5psi, he changed it and his car is now sweet

Steves engine runs a thicker headgasket lowering compression to 8.6, and he told me this is very important to keep his engine alive, sorta like engine insurance

my trade was 350 from my mate. im thinkin gettin a 984. Only flows 15L less an hour (185) compared to the 044 that flows 200LpH

There was a post a few months ago stating really good prices of Bosch pumps and where to get them from. I can get a 044 from repco for aroun 350, others can get them cheaper. Search the SA forum and u should find it.

Thats a bit of boost, i only wanted to run max 1.1 bar as i dont want to lower compression, will the engine still be ok making that much power at 1 bar?
