  1. Im gettin 550cc injectors, big bosch pump, and also an adjustable FPR to wind abit more out of my injectors if need be.
  2. Well it definately is gonna be low mount, and im thinking external gated now. If i get done, ull take the turbo off. And yeh its gonna b a bigish turbo. Hopefully make around 270-300rwkws.

  4. Yeh true. Also if i was defected and had to go thru regency, even if my turbo is internal gated, would they be able to tell if its aftermarket?
  5. hi guys, Im currently looking at a few possible turbo options for my car. Im aim for 450-500Hp at the engine with this turbo. Now i first was hoping to stay with an internal gated turbo to keep the engine looking at stock as possible, but after doing some research, it seems that a turbo which has external gate will hold boost better, and have lower spoolup times. Now is this true. Im paranoid about being defected, so basically if i can have a internal wastegated turbo that will hold boost well, then id be happy to do that, but if my setup wont work efficiently with internal gate, i spose ill have to go ext. Im looking at garrett turbos atm. Is it possible to somehow fit the stock heat shield over a new low mount turbo setup? Im sure i could modiy it somehow to make it look stock. Thanks Dean

  7. i think rubens is just no where near the driver schui is, it may come across that ferrari favour michael, but it isnt.

Yeh as said above, it has 408 fuel and ignition adjustments available for it, plus it comes with a boost controller module (which is usually an addon) that can be programmed to certain boost levels at differnt RPMS. It is an excellent unit, and if i wasnt going for more power, i would keep it. My loss is ur gain guys, grab a bargin

  12. Hey guys, i searched but couldnt find anything. Im lookin at purchasing some side feed injectors high impedeence for my 33. Now the information ive been given is: This injectors flow 500cc/min at 45psi 540cc/min at 52psi 575cc/min at 60psi As stock fuel pressure is 38psi, i would have to get a adjustable FPR, but my main concern is is it safe to run these injectors at the pressures shown above to get the same CC rates? I have emailed the seller to find out the CC flow at 38psi. Thanks :headspin: Dean
  13. check the website i posted in first post. It is a program that calculates the best turbo, thru u puttin in ur engine variables and other info like amount of boost u want to run and power u want, and it will search thru the compressor maps and find the best matches for it. I could do it myself, however im lazy, but ill probably have to do it, as no one has the software...

  16. yeh i know of those sites. Im actually looking for the " turbocalculator" program that searchs thru 84 compressor maps to find the best suited to ur engine. Hey im lazy and cant be stuffed doin my own calculations...
  17. true, however iin regards to schui vs barra, its not that ferrari favour schui, but that barra can not step up to schui. This is how ferrari wanted it thou, they didnt want 2 people fighting each other for championship. When Hakkinen won his 2 championships, the McLaren was awesome, and dominated. Yes i do know when mclaren were the best in 80s. I still believe the changes are there to stop ferrari, as ferrari are the biggest spenders in f1, so basically they do have a bigger advantage over the rest. by limiting the techology, it allows the crapper teams to hopefully come on par with the rest to give an even playing field. I still think the engine idea is stupid, and i am wondering how the hell these little engines are gonna churn out so much power with these new rules. How can a race engine last 2 rounds, and have almost all technology taken from them. They might aswell just make engines pushrod only..... Even in basic racing, engines are pulled down and rebuilt meet to meet, yet f1 is forcing an engine to last 2 races. To me the people setting these new rules have no fricken idea about racing, whos stupid idea was it to only allow 1 set of tyres. I think that is stupid and dangerous....
