done 1000klms. billet steel lightened flywheel and 40% heavy duty clutch and pressure plate. pull type clutch from.(direct clutch in brisbane).will fit some r33 gtrs with pull type...$950.00 as new. reason for sale upgrading to twin plate. mark in brisbane. 0418783262.

is it possible to disconnect the plumb back bov and vent the to outside air. seems to be a fair bit of oil blow back into the turbo inlets.. the car had no oil catch tank when i bought it and has 13000ks so could just be old oil build up... cheers.

had my r34 gtr dynoed today with hks 2530 turbos. at 1.00bar boost made 249rwks. it was running a bit lean even when we tried to screw the fuel pressure up . but no joy.. we think the fuel pump could be out off puff.???? also could be the mines ecu playing up.or air flow metres out of resolution. we only revved it to 6800rpm in 4 th gear so we think theres heaps more power left. also the hks standard actuators seem only to hold about 1.3 bar boost with my blitz id 3 controller. will the heavy duty hks ones do the job.????? i think a apexi pfc pro ecu , hks 280lt fuel pump should help .. what do you guys think..????

yes i agree its not good being beaten by a little gtir pulsar that ran 12.4 secs. need to improve my act some....

its bloody risky buying from overseas..thats what you should pay to cover your but if ones not quite right... easyer means dearer. more hastle and risk cheaper.....

thanks sydneykid i think i will leave the r34 cooler on for a while as my target is 500 to 600hp. so the 1800bucks can by a apexi pfc or something more important to balance the package. would like 300rwks and 11 sec 1/4 time. ran a 12.9 at 108mph last month at 1.1bar with the way it is now. with a crap 2.0 60ft time. have done 1.8s before .

from a guy in japan. approx 3grand for 2.. no side to side movement only little up and down... so they should be okay...

a bit hard to do whenthey are in japan. they cmae off a r33 gtr . turbos look very new like ..and approx 7500ks on them.....

the ones i am looking at have side to side play but no axial play. and only move 1/2 way between the outside of the turbo wheels and the housing with good clearance still. from what i belive this is okay...

turbo experts. how much bearing play should good used hks 2530s have.??? as i am looking at a set of used ones ..... would a little movement up and down between the impelor and housing be okay. as long as doesnt touch housing.. these are not on the vehicle and would be dry also no oil..... of course with oil play will be reduced ... is this correct..???? thanks for any advice.

i agree , sold on 2530s. might sell my r34 intercoller and get hks type r. 600 by 300 by 103... i have a mines ecu which is set up for hks 2510 and 600cc. so it should work okay with my 700cc inj and nismo fuel reg. i know the way to go is apexi pfc but turbos arent cheap. we can just tune it with the fuel reg for now..

what boost will the r34 gtr intercooler handle and still be efficient... been looking at new hks r type cooler is one of these worth much more power

i have heard a few ba reports on gt rs turbos. they are suited to 2.8ltr engine. a guy in the uk had 2 sets fitted and had problembs low to mid range on an rb26dett.... good to end though. so i think safest is hks 2530 as they are well known and driveable on the street.

just looking at buying hks 2530 kit for my r34 gtr. how many rwks would i get up to .?? at present i have good exhaust, pod filters and mines ecu... ran about 220rwks now.... thanks.
