  1. Plats were provided by DRC in Greenacre man, his a good bloke, Gil's his name director of DRC. I called him up basically after telling him ive been reading and told him what the symptoms were, and his like yup. Sparks are gone, and known hassle is coils, one of fix ! I was like hektik!! i bought the coils, and he supplied the plats and full service. Anyways, Kez, trust me bruh, when u goto ur mechanic and just get ur sparks done, then find out it doesnt fix it, then you gotta go hunt down splitfire coils, then go back to him and get charged again to get them into the RB25, its a mad headache ripping the top end off to just get into the god damn sparks and coils -.- I was smart though, when i took it to DRC, i told Gil i need the car in 2 hours, he got 2 mechanics to work on it, and was done in less den an hour and a half. sweeettt!! Trust me, you wanna go the full 9 yards once your in there, so might aswell mod it now, and tick that one out of your lil Holy Mod Book! But yeah, i saw a coil replacement guide on here, just a few threads below this one, you COULD do it yourself and save the labour costs, but in my opinion i would just get it down to a garage, not a normal petrol station garage, take it to one that knows their S**T bout' imports. MRXTCZ P.S Hahahahaha Cris!! THE MAN OF THE HOUR !!
  2. Exact same thing happened to me, RB25DE issue. Spark plugs and Coils are your best bet, the car will shudder non stop as soon as you hit over 2500 or 3000 rpm. It happened to me last week and freaked me out, got new platinum sparks and splitfire coils. Works a treat !! MRXTCZ
  3. Yup same problem i had last week. Coilpacks did the trick and from Slide aswell. MRXTCZ
  4. Nice, good job guys . Another 1000 to come MRXTCZ
  5. Well yeah, cruising it, keeping the revs under 3000. Fuel isnt an issue. MRXTCZ
  6. Fuel aint that bad for my 34. Average 9.2 - 10L per 100 and, like mentioned before, i dont see the justice in spending the money on a NA autech, when u could get a Spec R. MRXTCZ
  7. Plumpton aye, near Mounty County and and all that. Wow that area trust me, i wouldnt call it as safe, i know a few people there that have had their cars stolen and burnt, especially Hyundai Excels. But hope they burn in hell, losers! MRXTCZ
  8. I know, i dont wanna rock up and cop defects left right and centre, are the cops cruising it with us aswell, or just coming to the meet up places ? but im in anyways. MRXTCZ
  9. hahahaahha i'll bring mah 25GT as well parked next to shanil's !! i wanna see this line up aswell. MRXTCZ
  10. BIASED opinion, R34, love it, spacey and damn smooth but powerful ride. As ive said before, i would go for a NA S15, only time i would go for a S15 is if its a SPECR. Seen too many s15's around, not many NA 34's, atleast in mah hood . MRXTCZ
  11. Anyone know if anyone here makes the vented see through coil pack covers ? MRXTCZ
  12. its like sex on the beach IMO, i dont like NA supra's, to chunky looking. Go for a R33 and R34, your already at our forums, so you might aswell *IMPULSE buy* HAHA, but nah man, do whatchu want we'll only give you advice, the deision is still upto u. MRXTCZ

  15. Oh this is ridiculous. 1.69 in bankstown this morning XD someone needs to pimp slap these fuel regulatory authorities!! MRXTCZ " GET RID OF THE FUEL TAX " - we need such bumper stickers!
  16. Thats very much true, we have some of the best exposure to sunlight across the globe, but regarding the fuel tax, i saw something on 7 news in the morn saying something about reviewing the fuel tax . Maybe a win for drivers is just over the hill ? I wish they get rid of this ridiculous tax. MRXTCZ

  25. Hey guys, i just bought the car last week thursday, was working fine for about a day or 2, and then this missfire started, the car has a kakimoto 3 or 4 inch. I know, NA's should have between 2 and 2.5 but thats how i got the car for now. Now what happened was that i was just driving normal and gave it a hit on 3rd and suddenly rpm dropped a lil and just started to stutter and then start missing. And its been happening ever since, if im on low revs it doesnt miss. But once its over 3 or 4000 then it gets to be worse. Ive read a few things on the sticky thread, but thats mostly turbo engines. Now i just need to figure out, do i just change the spark plugs? Coz thats what my mate said and his a mechanic, said just change the sparks and test that. Oh yeah, the engine warning lights been on aswell since the missfire started. MRXTCZ
