Hi all, Looking for the following parts for a 1993 R33 Series 1 GTS-t: - Stock steering wheel (non airbag) in good condition. - Stock front driver and passenger seats in good condition. - Stock air box snorkel Let me know what you've got and how much you want for it. Cheers,

Theres this one for sale: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/19...-c-t315407.html I also saw a '74 Crown for sale on the side of the road today in Bayswater, but it appeared to be in excellent condition.

Very interested in the motard. What are your plans for it? Will it be a race bike or street bike? Are you keeping the original front end? You need to do a build thread on that thing. Most people avoid 2 strokes these days, its good to see someone keeping them going. I'm hoping direct injection 2 strokes bikes will come out over the next few years. A 500cc 2 stoke road bike would be great...

Bad timing. I sold a 240k coupe just recently. I know of a 240K couple shell in Victoria if you're interested... I also have a 1970 Toyota Crown station wagon, located in Victoria if you're interested:

I laughed at that. Its lucky they didn't kill anyone!

You've got some f**king dangerous bikes there! 3 wheelers are a good way to die Like the RG500. Did you import it from Japan or buy it here? I was the test rider dummy for an RG500 that we got from Japan a few years back... Didn't die, so it was all good. More info/pics on the CR500 please Also, MC28 fairings on an RGV? Looks like they fit pretty well. At the moment I only have a 1981 XR200. Previous bikes were a CR80, YZ100, KX125, CBX250, 2XCBR250s, another CR80, TS250X and a VFR400.

Came across as a subtle troll post... but I could be wrong.

+1 for more pics. Take them outside and from different angles, showing as much of the car as possible. Don't take them on retarded "artistic" angles... Personally I would say $8000 to $9000 would be fair, although I've never seen the car in person. It really depends on how long you're willing to wait and whether theres a buyer near you who wants an R33. The more places you advertise, the better your chances of selling. As I've said, try carsales.com, ebay, firesport.com etc. Don't bother with drive.com Another +1 for detailing the car like a dealer, they can make a very average car look great. Tyre shine for the tyres, clean the rims with a strong cleaner, amoral all interior parts. A good trick to make the car look good is silicone spray. Air box, hoses, top of radiator, spark plug valley cover, fuse box etc in the engine bay, then the plastic tray underneath the windscreen wipers, plastic strips around all windows and so on. Spend a few hours cleaning it and you'll be surprised how good they can come up.

I don't think you've got a series 1.5. No airbag and rear wing is not a 1.5. Pressure wash the engine bay and maybe have the interior detailed. You might also want to change the parts that show wear. The steering wheel looks very warn... Try posting it on ebay and car sales. You get very little interest in the boost cruising and SAU forums, just low ballers offering you $5000.

A dealer will give you very little as a trade in. Need pictures and specs to comment further... Edit: Are you still asking $14,000? Its a nice car, but at most you'll get $11,000. Good condition series 2 examples can be had for $10-12,000. You might want to pull all of the aftermarket parts out and sell them separately.

They're M30 R32 wheels:

Looks similar to the M30 R31 Tommy Kaira wheels.

As has been said, buy a turbo. Theres no point spending $10,000 on the engine if your brakes and suspension are stock. Your car will not be worth more after the $10,000 has been spent. It might actually be worth less as non turbo skylines are in high demand.

Hi mate, Are they the same as an R33 Gts-t?
-
You could try transdirect.com.au, I've sent a few large items with them recently and they were pretty cheap.
-
Did she offer a free "full service" to get out of the fine?

Cleaning R34 Engine Bay - What Not To Spray?
Priestley replied to SS8_Gohan's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've cleaned plenty of R33 & R34 engine bays while working at a RAW. We used a product called Reb Baron degreaser. Sprayed the entire bay, left it for 5 minutes and then used a high pressure sprayer to remove it. I did the entire bay without covering anything and never had a problem. I also did this to my personal R33 once every few months and never had a problem in 5 years. After it dries I used either Amoral or silicon spray on any of the plastic parts, always came up looking great. -
A common sense test would be better

Speaking of stupid people: http://www.news.com.au/national/kmh-too-fa...r-1225847725280 "THREE in every four drivers think 100km/h is too fast for country speed limits and have voted for a cut to 90km/h, a study has found." If you want to talk "nanny state", the hoon laws are nothing in comparison to the reduction of speed limits we've seen in recent years...

Landcruiser 60 Series
Priestley replied to ?UESTLOVE's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Hey Baron, what are the prices like on 1980's 4x4s in Japan (40 series Landcruisers or similar)? From what I've seen in the past they sell for very high prices if they're in decent condition. I'm only basing that on goo-net and other such websites prices, not auction prices. -
True, its not a complete waste of money, but there are aspects to it that are a waste. Paying workers extremely high wages just to ensure the union does not strike and allows it to be built, not building another dam (one in Gippsland where it keeps flooding would have had a duel benefit) and the billing of people even if the dams are full and the plant isn't required seems a little harsh. I'm also sure that the price will blow out to something close to twice the price we've been quoted, as has happened on countless other government projects. It will be nice to have it there when we need it, so I'm not opposed to it being built.
-
I agree with you on this one. Kennet was good for Victoria, Labor seem to have a way of pissing away money on pointless projects (Myki, desal plant, fast rail project, Sugarloaf pipe and so on), I hope the Liberals win the next election, cut the over spending and hopefully stop the "nanny state" policies from being enacted. We can only hope that whoever wins the next election does so by such a narrow margin that they can be voted out easily should their policies displease a decent amount of people. That would hopefully lessen the chance of bullshit laws being passed...

I've found Graemes post to be very good and I would never doubt that what he says is true. People seem to lump all cops in together, but I've personally come across great officers, some not too good and one who was terrible. The majority have been good. More cops like Graeme would be a good thing.
