R32 Gtr Cheap! Nismo Wheels, Light Mods
Priestley replied to Rowdyr32's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I'm surprised people need to see pics. Its $11,000, just go see it! -
I could have written this myself, but you've saved me the time. This bliitz is understandable though. You just have to look four threads below this one and you'll see a p-plater gloating about crashing his R34 while drifting on the streets. Unfortunately our cars stand out, so if someone does act like a retard it will stick in a persons mind.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...86-2862,00.html A P-plate driver has been charged following a pursuit in country Victoria. A police divisional van at Rocheseter attempted to intercept the 1989 Nissan GTS coupe as it passed them at high speed on the Northern Highway shortly before 8pm. The powerful Nissan reaches speeds close to 190kph before the pursuit ended five minutes after the pursuit began as the Nissan's driver slowed down at Echuca. The 27-year-old driver, from Alfredton, was arrested without incident and his car impounded. He was charged with reckless conduct likely to cause serious injury, failing to stop for police, speed dangerous, exceeding the speed limit, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to display P-plates. He was bailed to appear at the Echuca Magistrates Court on September 29 this year. The guys a retard, but did they really need to mention that it was a Skyline? Would they have pointed out the car if it was a 1989 Magna?

This post pretty much sums it up. Wind and road noise is also a factor when you buy a motorbike helmet. The more expensive they are the more noise they reduce. As long as the helmet meets Aus standards you'll be fine.

You can get a KBC VR1X helmet at the Peter Stevens clearance store on A'Beckett street in the CBD for $125 at the moment apparently. Have a browse through here: http://www.peterstevens.com.au/

Nissan Pivo
Priestley replied to Houdini's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Thats an interesting commercial -
That is a massive number of cars, but no-one seriously injured. Some of the cars looked like they'd taken a big hit too. Was it due to well engineered, safe cars, well designed safety features on the roads itself or just pure luck? The tow truck drivers of the area would be pretty happy and smash repair places too. Insurance companies on the other hand...

Interesting video of the concept Pivo 1: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7756020189597681609 and one of the Pivo 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Ijsfg4tx4 That interactive robot head on the dash is a little freaky. -
There was a picture of a GT-R front on a V35 posted on 4chan of all places a few days back. It certainly didn't look good.

I would advise you to stay away from GTA. You might want to contact Iron Chef or Craig at J-Spec, both can be contacted here on through their websites. They can help you with the importation process. If you really want to buy from a yard I'd suggest one that imports and complies their own cars, not a dealership that buys cars and then has them complied.

So its a Series 1.5? Did the 1.5 come with a series 2 motor or has everyone in this thread with a 95 had an engine swap?

Yep, I've read that, but I'm looking for something other than the Cube. Something similar would be great... -

There are several workshops waiting for approval on the Cube at the moment. There are a few for sale which leads me to believe that they've passed, but maybe those ones came in as personal imports? Imperial have the Cube Cubic listed on their compliance page: http://imperialauto.com.au/modules/content/index.php?id=26 -
