  2. Vish, is your R33 dark grey/black? with a SAUSCC09 Sticker on the back window? Not sure if I spotted you heading towards Mt Gravatt way on Logan Rd on Australia Day.. whoever it was made a left near the Shell station.. I was fair bit further back on Logan Rd.. I saw the SCC09 Sticker but wasn't about to play catch up, particularly on a public holiday lol
  3. That's pretty poor that a venue that operates at night can't donate the use of their venue for a good cause during the day... Well done to the club for rounding up the donation! Hopefully next SCC we'll raise a nice big sum of money for the charities

  9. White R34 GTT Coupe at Pizza Capers Mt Gravatt last night.. nice ride
  10. Spotted a clean White 4 Door R34 on Boundary Road Coopers Plains, white snap on sticker on rear windshield
  11. hahaha very funny! lol I'm not an apple person, far from it.. in fact after I upgraded to the iphone i was thinking omg wtf am I doing! lol I must say though, once you start exploring the apps available it's really great. My main preference was for the full web browser functionality more than anything. Anyhow, phone brand/models aside, trapster's definitely a great app to have to be prewarned about mobile radars and police checkpoints (particularly when you drive a Skyline). It's available on various smart phone platforms: http://trapster.com/download_phones.php The new version has a number of additional features like points of interest etc.. similar to GPS so there's a bit of bonus functionality there. Above all else though, sticking to the limit is the best way to not get caught. If anything, using programs like trapster and seeing the number of known spots, as well as the general mobile speed radar presence in Brisbane the last half year has made me a better driver in that regard. You don't have to speed everywhere you go, and you'll save a bit of money in fuel in the process
  12. Trapster works well, available on iPhone and possibly a number of other handhelds by now? It can tell you where the known spots are based on user submissions, along with fixed speed/red light cameras. You can also set it up for push notifications so if someone reports a camera you will get an update on your phone much like an SMS. You can also set it up to alert you based on how common a known location is so that way its not alerting you almost constantly. Whilst not speeding is obviously the best thing, I think its fairly obvious that they find easy target locations the majority of the time and I know I'd rather be extra safe if I know I'm approaching a mobile radar.
  13. Spotted a white S2 R33 on Kessels Road near Macgregor with an SAUQLD Sticker about half n hour ago
  14. oooh that was you!! Yay for 4 Door!!! I only got a quick glance while going past lol
  15. haha awesome! Spotted a white R34 Coupe with pink plates twice in Redbank Plains today.. gave a wave and got a wave in return I didn't get to catch the plates though.. wasn't sure if it was becks?
  16. Spotted a black R33 and white R32 on Mains Rd SunnyBank last night, nice chatting at the lights Also spotted a nice white Stag at Mt Gravatt Shell, Perth plates and Autosalon stickers.
  17. Spotted KWL33 next to another white R33 on the lights at Gold Coast today. I was a fair few cars behind.
  18. if it's illegal then don't do it! A P Plater with a turbo = no insurance! Both you and the person you hit will not be happy. Save your money for a GTSt/GTT later, or slowly buy the parts so when you're ready you can do the conversion then.
  19. spotted BULL3T at NorthBeach in the Gong, and spotted a nice clean White R34 GTT accross from my mates place in Fairy Meadow
  20. lol electric leaf blower is definitely a good way to describe it! My zorst is a bit droney, still need to get around to fitting a mid-muffler or hot dog resonator.. there's no resonator at the moment and it's a 3" mandrel bend system from the turbo-back. the droneyness + leaf blower effect really sounds like i'm gardening some times lol
  21. I upgraded mine to R33 GTSt brakes. I did find the N/A brakes were more responsive and had a better initial feel, even after changing booster/cylinder to match the GTSt brakes... possibly something do do with the amount of fluid going through the calipers? or maybe simply the lower weight of the rotating parts? I know when Dori done his conversion, particularly at the higher boost, he found that the N/A brakes were in need of serious upgrading. You may get away with simply upgrading to slotted rotors, street/track suitable pads, braided lines (mainly if your brake lines are old) and a Master Cylinder Stopper to reduce firewall flex under heavy braking (also dependant on how bad the firewall flex is).
  22. Just don't forget to combine the Turbo Whistler with the Hyclone for maximum killerwasps!! Or should I say killer'rasps'? You might want to throw one of these chips in too http://cgi.ebay.com.au/15BHP-Chip-Nissan-M...#ht_3672wt_1169 That'll squeeze the juice out of the N/A!! Disclaimer: I don't recommend ANY of the above products!! You would have to be an absolute moron to use them on any car, especially a Skyline!
  23. In Australia, it's either custom made, or get them from DKNE (Dumper King n Exhaust). Unless you're willing to import them and get the tried & tested Coby Extractors from Parts Co in New Zealand. Good idea to get them HPC Coated also and shield them from your air box...I forget who it was on here who had extractors melt through the airbox. With DKNE you can pay for the optional Flange to be able to simply bolt on without welding. RB25DET doesn't use extractors. On the N/A RB's the extractors dump to a front pipe, to the cat and then the catback. On Turbo RB's the turbo manifold replaces the extractors and the exhaust gas drives the turbo charger exhausting out the back of the turbo through the dump and front pipe to cat to catback. Very different concept.
  24. They would be rated differently, not sure if that's the issue. I have an N/A R34 GT Fuel Pump removed at 110,000kms due to upgrade for turbo conversion. I think it will be a standard replacement, if that's what the problem ends up being.
