  1. I'm in for any night of the week, I just thought that maybe that's when most people would be out.. then again Friday and saturday nights could well be not suitable for most either lol Like I said though, name a night and unless I have reason to be out, I'm up for a round of TF2 I wonder how many other's on SAU play TF2 that don't get into this forum much.. maybe a signature banner would be good to help get the word out
  2. any word on which magazine / issue they'll be in?
  3. The R34 N/A 4 door in its stock standard form is a nice smooth daily driver, but like you said definitely lacking in the turbo, not to mention stopping power, unless you have a GT-V.
  4. A lot of people are out on Thursday nights too...

  6. I can invite a 6th if we're short on ppl again
  7. nice!! goes to show that if you invest $$ into an N/A RB you can still make some good N/A power! Do you have a dyno graph? I'm interested to see visually what the power delivery is like. What's the torque like down low being that it's an RB30/26, I'd expect it to have some nice bottom end.
  8. lol VUTUTUTUTUT when you gonna get that shit plumbed back in? lol I drove closed loop for all of around two weeks till I sourced a plumback BOV, drove me nuts after the first week... getting doses at like 2-3k revs ~_~ Awesome skids! Wish I kept my stockies now
  9. hmmm I might check out performance pipes, they're very close to where I work and I must get around to getting a resonator fitted to quieten the exhaust down. Are they reasonably priced?
  10. You're rebuilding your current engine as in strapping on a RB30 block? Or you want to go either RB25DE or RB30DE? There was/still are a few listings on ebay for a RB25DE reconditioned block, RB25DE 10:1 CR Pistons, the crank and I think a few other bits.
  11. Is there little-to-no lag? aka pretty much instant boost? Badges doesn't mean everything, but blue badges are typically on N/As. Are the wheels and brakes R33 GTSt items? 4 stud wheels and 2 pot front and 1 pot rear calipers were the go on GTS, whereas GTSt has 5 stud wheels and 4 and 2 pot calipers. I'm not entirely sure from the engine number, I would assume that you can get some info from it. Is there any Queensland mod plate to evidence any engine change? Could even be that the owner put blue badges to fool other people in the know into thinking that it's an N/A.. but then like you said open diff and no hicas... Not many people do bolt-on conversions. Do you have pics of the engine bay and other areas to try and discern whether it's a bolt-on, engine conversion, or just a bit strange?
  12. http://www.japaneseimportspares.com.au/nissanskyliner34/ If it's the same as what's in the picture, you could be in luck
  13. So what does that mean for people rockin the GTR Badges when they don't have a GTR? I suppose they're wannabe porn stars
  14. lol @ all of the above recent posts haha And just in the business park that I work in there's four skylines including mine. There was another R33 at one stage, and an R34 GT Coupe, don't know what's happened to them now.
  15. lol where are you living? I see Skyline's almost every I drive now
  16. Nice story!! So he couldn't find anything on your car, so he has to have a stab at you instead about what he thinks of the lights on your car... yeah that's the sort of cop attitude we need now isn't it! Wrong place wrong time... so when and where is the best place and time to fill up petrol? He targeted you, made a u-turn just to pull in to try and fine you for something, meanwhile there could be a drunk driver elsewhere, or someone in a genuinely defectable car blowing smoke all over the road
  17. Holy crap Josh! I'm suprised you made it out of that one so easily!! Dori, did you already look into the penalties to see if it would be worth it?
  18. Mild2Wild done my catback and hi-flow cat. I mainly went to them as they were pretty much accross the road from my tuner and I was getting a turbo conversion done so there wasn't a lot of options for me. They seem to have done a good job with it all, bit droney though, but nothing that fitting a resonator and something other than a canon tip won't fix. Something I really should get around to doing soon, though.
  19. Depends what mods you have. No point forking out even hundreds of dollars for an ECU, and then few hundred more for fitting, then even more again for tuning, unless you have mods that require an ECU to get the most out. Unless you've done Cold Air Intake, Extractors, Cat Back, Hi-Flow Cat, as a minimum, ECU isn't going to net you any real gains for the dollars spent. Once you get to things like cams, port/polish, raising compression... the R34 ECU is more than capable. Plenty of good discussion on this topic as well btw, a quick search will find the topics for you.
  20. Well said Adam!! I still believe that sometimes you can just be unlucky enough to get a cop that is intent on making your life miserable, but 9/10 that formula works. Fortunately I've only been pulled over once, and that wasn't in the Skyline either. You ask for attention you'll get it.. keep a low profile on the road and you'll go unnoticed for the most part.
  21. Spotted 94BNR at Sunnybank BP today
