Goran's great like that! I took photos and measured my ones up on my R34 sedan to be used with R33 brakes, just done the measurements and everything and he had them sent to me so quickly! Very helpful and easy to deal with too

Just seeing if anyone in Brisbane has a used Catback Exhaust to suit an R34. Car's in garage getting turbo at the moment, but just doing a quick WTB in case someone has a reasonably priced used Catback before I get one custom made. If you have a Hi Flow Cat to suit I'd be interested as well. Need to know within next couple of days though. Cheers Nathan

As the title states, I need a factory actuator and bracket to suit an R33 Turbo. Will pay for overnight express postage, car is in garage getting turbo conversion as I speak, the actuator I was supplied isn't suitable, so I need one pretty much straight away! Reply here or PM please =] Thanks! Nathan

I'll have one available after my turbo conversion this week. Also got a K&N Panel filter in it about 12months old now, can sell as well if wanted.

Thanks for the replies Dan Lines are all sorted now with speed flow fittings for $325. Thanks to the guys at Hi-Power, one of the tuners had a few of the fittings I need at home they're happy to give me, and the hoses etc.. they're supplying so that's all worked out well in the end. Now just sourcing an actuator, but at least everything else can continue in the mean time now which is good. Once it's all done I'll be taking photos of the the hose lines and fittings to show how it's been done on my car.

Hey mate do you still have the RB25 actuator? I need one ASAP, car's in the workshop and the actuator supplied aint gonna work. Will it be good for an R33 turbo? PM please Thanks
-
I'm going for budget but without compromising too much. Speed flow is probably beyond what I need? not sure. Now it seems I need factory lines as well. Factory Lines 2 metres Dash 3 Hose 2 x Straight Dash 3 2 x Dash 3 Banjo to fit R33 Standard Turbo 1 x 1/8 NPT thread to Dash 3 fitting 1 x T-Block for Oil Pressure Switch. They don't want to tap the block without removing the engine, and been told that using heater lines is going to be the best way as the water isn't flowing consistently unless the heater is on. So yeah now I'm on the pursuit of factory lines and cheap enough hoses/fittings...oh and an actuator

Well my car's at the workshop as I speak, and already hit a couple of bumps. The braided lines I bought aren't going to be long enough and I'm going to need them made to the correct lengths. Problem is the speed flow fittings they sell are as dear as poision! Any recommendations for a place that can make them up, preferably locally (Brisabne) that won't cost the earth? Also after a factory actuator and bracket for an R33 turbo as the one that I received with it is too short :S Provided I can get these issues sorted out pretty quickly they're happy to continue with the rest.

That's what i'm using, 3A Racing Professional Bulb Series AAA-5208W-6 LED Light - Blade Globe White T-10 6 LED. In daylight they look the same as in the photo you posted.

I saw plates on what looked to be a fairly well performance modified supra that had plates HAHAV8.

I've been in Brisbane, a couple of months over a year now. I've been told to stay away from Inala also and that if I park my car it will probably be gone when I get back lol In Mt Gravatt shared accomodation at the moment, Mt Gravatt's really central and close to everything really, but not the most affordable though. Gets a bit cheaper once you start moving further away from Mt Gravatt or further from the CBD in general though.

Yeah? I think it's more to do with the way I took the photo and the fact it was taken in the basement car park under low light, it makes them look brighter and flares in the lense a bit. Mine look to be the same as the ones you're using, during the day they're just a pair of spots really, at night they fill the lense cover nicely but are more of a white light with a slight blue tinge. If they were as blue as they look in these photos I'd have taken them out. Did you get the ones in the group by that WKD031 ran? If so they're the same and shouldn't really be any difference...
-
While it's still an N/A Skyline I thought I'd take a few pics this morning The parkers look really blue in the photos, but they're white LED's.

Post #1 The oil & water lines were modified and extended with stainless steel braided hose. The water supply was taken from the heater lines…the oil feed had to be taken from near the filter and the return is via a tap into the block..
-
Pretty sure Dan used the heater use for the water line on his conversion...not sure if it's the same deal with the RB20?
-
Sweet yeah I think i'll stick with 3" then, leaves room for more power later on. I'm thinking about the twin tip for the stock look as well...an extra $80 is worth it if it keeps unwanted attention away.
-
Thanks for the tip Dan, I'll take your word for it and go with Right Price, particularly since they've done it before. Didn't you get 2.75" though back then? Should I stick with 3" all the way? Still figuring out whether to go oval barrel twin tip, or a standard canon.
-
Sorry to hijack thread, but I thought it best to post here than start a new one. I'm getting my exhaust done next week as part of my turbo conversion. At the moment I'm looking at getting the exhaust done at Right Price Exhaust since it's just down the street from Hi-Power Racing who are doing the conversion. So far I've heard good things about Right Price, but I just want a second opinion before I go ahead with getting them to do it. I've been advised that the turbo and JJR front/dump and cat will have to be fitted first and then the exhaust done so to make sure everything fits up right, and as such right price being close by is a logical choice as far as that goes. Is it worth looking at other options? I've got the JJR Front/Dump pipe, just the cat converter and catback is what I'll need, so won't need a complete turboback made up. Been quoted $510 for a 3" mandrel bent system with resonator and canon tip, or $590 for the same but with a oval barrel twin tip. Reaonable? Excessive?

N/a+t Power Results - N/a +t Turbo Conversions Only
N-DAWG replied to N-DAWG's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah I can always upgrade the turbo later Plus with a bigger turbo will probably be bigger injectors and then you know how it goes from there lol I need to have something to look forward to later on too I picked up the R33 turbo for a reasonable price and I didn't see any R34 turbos around that time, only seen 2-3 since then and I got it quite a few months ago and I didn't particularly want to go through the steps of selling again and buying again... Besides the conversions been done with R33 turbo's before with pretty good results. I was estimating around 180 RWKW but I don't want to aim too high though, I'd rather expect less and get more. Besides I'm more after useable power for the streets and a high compression set up is going to give me what I want. It's a daily driver which will be seeing the occasional track day...no point having all that power if you don't get out on the track to really enjoy it -
N/a+t Power Results - N/a +t Turbo Conversions Only
N-DAWG replied to N-DAWG's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah, i'm not going to have too high expectations, I will after all be using a 2nd hand R33 turbo, but I'll be running 3" from the turboback with hi flow cat, FMIC and Apexi Pod, so things should flow quite nicely. It goes in to Hi-Power Racing on Monday -
