If you have an R34: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...amp;pid=4093167 Of course shielding this also would work quite well. In addition you could run a cold feed underneath, though that might be a bit overkill for an N/A.

Unless you want the induction sound, a high flow panel will be fine. Too much heat soak in my opinion to be wanting to use a pod, unless of course you do as skyla said.

Item: Lightning Audio 15" Strike Series SVC Subwoofer w/ Q-Max Sealed Enclosure Specs: Lightning Audio S3 15.4 300WRMS / 900W Peak 4 Ohm Single Coil; 87.9db sensitivey; Injection Moulded Polypropylene Cone; Dual Spiders; Woven Tinsel Leads; 2inch 4-Layer Voice Coil; Rubber Surround; Double Stacked Magnet Age: Approx 2-3 Years, used regularly for about 2 years. the box it's in is about 10 Months old. Condition: All good condition, the carpet on the box has a small rip, but if it's glued back down it'd be barely noticeable. Price: 250 ? Would consider swap for a pair of 12s depending on what you have to offer, or a single 12 if similarly rated @ 4ohms. I just mainly want to know what I can expect to get at this stage. Location: Brisbane, pick up from Coopers Plains area Reason for sale: Want to downsize to smaller punchier woofer(s). My taste in music is fairly varied to want a 15" sub now. As most would know, Lightning Audio is made by Rockford, so it's a really good quality sub. I'll get some better and current photos up soon, this is it in my old car. got eBay linkage? I was wondering about where to put the eManage as well...wasn't so sure if whether to secure it in the glove box due to it being a bit TOO easily accessible. Yeah I know what you're saying about cutting the dash...not a nice feeling..BUT after seeing Dan's gauge install I have confidence in doing it with his help which of course I don't expect for nothing I'll try get around to snapping a photo of my ignition harness tomorrow morning for you too Dori

Dan...if you didn't tell me that was a 25GT, I would have been fooled for thinking it was factory fitted! That is a job well done! That would be awesome mate, much appreciated! Are those R34 gauges still for sale now Dori?
-
haha that I am lol Nonetheless, if you do decide to cut up the dash and all, it'd be good for the DIY/Tutorial section
-
Good luck man, I personally wouldn't risk cutting the dash myself..but that's me though. Having the gauges on the dash is good for visibility when driving, but I like the idea of having din gauges and a dash that looks like an N/A just to keep it sleeperish

Looking good Dori, will be well worth it once it's all fitted up nicely I just placed my order for the injector harness and ignition signal from Perfectrun as well...alll slowly coming together.

I was under the impression that a performance exhaust is still illegal? If I'm wrong I stand corrected. As usual the RTA laws aren't exactly clear cut in black and white when it comes to what can and can't be done. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pl...33-t238477.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pl...ce-t240228.html Those two threads sum up most of the discussion that's been had here on N/A P Plate Performance which will probably answer other questions you may have.
-
I would 'think' that the 'legal' option is to replace it with a replacement OEM exhaust. Of course this isn't always the practical alternative. Replacing with say a turbo factory exhaust will give you the flow and performance without all the added noise and unwanted attention. Alternatively, do a custom 2.5" exhaust, but make sure the rear muffler at least "looks" factory, and you use enough resonators to quieten it down, and you will have a good flowing exhaust that won't attract too much attention, and at least you could try and justify that you replaced a rusted exhaust with something that was close enough to factory. It seems that some cops will pull up any p plate skyline to inspect for illegal modifications; others probably won't harrass you about the exhaust. The bottom line though is that any modification that affects the performance of a vehicle is illegal under a restricted provisional licence, and try justifying a performance exhaust on a skyline to a police officer who would expect the story to be made up.

Does It Make A Difference If My Exhaust Is Twin/single?
N-DAWG replied to Awesome's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Which thread? He has too many to keep track of lol i'm suprised to see this thread is still going, but with that said though, it's been quite an informative lesson on mufflers which is good to see! -

Does It Make A Difference If My Exhaust Is Twin/single?
N-DAWG replied to Awesome's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What Adam said covers the answer. On another note though, the oval twin tip mufflers are apparently known to drone quite a bit on N/A Skylines, as I've been told by one of the guys at Rob Bliss Exhaust in Brisbane. That was the advice I was given when I was asking about a twin tip set up, simply for a factory looking system. I don't like to be the one to say it, but if you do a search through these N/A forums you'll find that N/A Skyline Exhaust systems have been pretty much done inside out... -
How Much Power Do I Lose If I Get A 3" Catback Exhaust.
N-DAWG replied to Awesome's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Short answer: yes Do a search and you'll see it's been covered. a 2.5" mandrel bend exhaust is going to be the best option for an N/A Skyline. If the exhaust is too large in diameter, you lose volumetric efficiency (commonly mislabelled as backpressure). Basically the exhaust gasses aren't filling up the space efficiently. You will have more top end power, but you will lose it quite a bit where it matters day to day. -
Hey man, Page 17 covers the list (required and optional). I think a step by step with photos will be good, look forward to seeing it

R34 Factory Rims W/tyres
N-DAWG replied to N-DAWG's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
If you want to arrange with a courier to pick them up, I'll be happy to post. My new rims came in to my workplace on a pallet, so I should be able to claim a pallet back for these and get them wrapped up for shipping. -
