you can get permits...but ther hard to get and ther expensive....the permits are given out to ppl who are in certain living conditions etc....like only one car and its turbo (unlickly ) or 2 cars and only one is avaialble and its a turbo or a v8 or something.....iv even heard of ppl that just paid for a certificate...but its like 2500 buks...waste of money....anyway man...if u love skylines so much get a non turbo...get used to it first... im kinda glad i didnt get a turbo...otherwise i might be wrapped around a pole....alot of the turbo guys will say wer stupid for getting a N/a skylines like it defeats the perpose...but i dont care i love them so much even a non turbo is awsome.... im also on my greens...ill buy a GTT when i get my full's - get a bit more experience under my belt befor i go and buy the real beast

Yea dude thats what it looks like. Atm we have the r34 gtt's with smooth blue plates and the r34 gt's (rb25de engines) with the engraved......this is good....if any more r34 gtt's and r34 gt's can confirm this it would be great....

That looks awsome!!! hahahahaha how do u think a non turbo r34 would hold up on the track?? i ask because i have absolutly no idea how to drift...... its just watching those vids it looks like the cars would need a certain amount of power to get those wheels spinnning for so long.....so anyone know if a non turbo could pull it off?

PlastiX is awsome...use that stuff aswell...and yes u do have to do it hard and long to get all of it off..but the discharge Lanky is talking about is def inside....ive got the same stuff on the inside of my left xenon...i want to take it apart...but once again trust issues.....my mate is part of the water cooled (VW) club and they told him to do the same thing...chuck the headlights into the oven or even microwave :S (i know. WTF - MICROWAVE!!) and it will melt the plastic just enough to pop it off....but i dont think the VW headlights are as expensive as our precious xenons...but yea...moral of the story..it worked for him..but not game enough to try it

i just got pm'd from a guy that has a r34 and his plate is thinnly engraved like mine....i asked him if his car is non turbo or turbo....because thats what i have narrowed down the diffrence 2...hopefully this will answer some questions...i have also pm's some other ppl who have rb25de's and ill post up what they say....so far i have had r34 gtt's telling me they have smooth..and i have r33's telling me they have engraved...

unfortunaly this is true...even tho it contradicts what i said befor....i guess i havent been driving as long as others...so my stories are limited to only the good ones atm...*cross fingures*

i pm'd the guy that 1st asked about the blue plate being engraved and if it only applied to the r33(hes located on the second page of the thread link i posted in my 1st post)....and he said it that the engraved blue plates that are supposed to be fake only applies to the r33's......soo what is now confusing me even more....didnt know it cud get any more confused.....is that i have r33's telling me that ther plates are engraved.....which is supposably the fake ones...and then i have r34's telling me they have smooth ones…..when the engraved things shudnt apply!! and also i have 2 ppl including myself who have r34's with engraved....... whats going on!!! i hope someone can read this and shed some light...or just more ppl checking ther blue plates so we can start getting some consistencies

lucky dude...lucky...... about a month ago i got pulled over by an undercover in a xr6 turbo (sexies looking undercover car btw) (i was on my red p's at the time) anyway he asked for my licence and all that ....asked me to pop the hood....then he go's "btw your rego is out by 2 days..." i was like awww shiiittt" anyway long story short.....he let me off and told me that its a $500 for no rego and $500 for no third party....so im f*king lucky.....red p plater driving a r34 skyline and he lets me off.....anyone who calls cops dickheads is clearly doing something to make them act like dickheads....becasue all the cops i have been pulled over by have tried to stir me up and when they see im nice and respectfull they seem to change straight away..... also got pulled over tonight for a RBT around the same are the xr6 pulled me over....he didnt even look at my car just did the rbt and looked at my licence and let me go (on my green p's atm) soo yea....cops arnt dickheads....just the ppl that call them dickheads are the dickheads
