Hi all!! i know ther is already a sticky out ther doing this and i also know that most of the older and experienced owners will know that this is all about but i thought i might start this one just for the fact of awarness since i only stumbled apon it by complete accident. so this thread is mainly directed to the newer members and owners like myself For the few that dont know what FAST is....its just a program that you can punch in your VIN and it will tell you - colour -transmition- model number of the car the VIN belongs to..... and if your vin doesnt match up with your Blue Build Plate (located in the top left of your engine bay) with all the info on it.....then your car has a fake one and was probly stolen or rebirthed or wtvr else theivs do with out pride and joys so either download the program yourself using utorrent (1.5 gigs) (pm me for the torrent link....apparently its "illegal" to post torrent links on SAU lol or post your vin or pm your vin to me and ill post up the results...ill also let a few other ppl i know that have this program to help out i do know that ther is another thread like this one.....im just doing this to a) spread the load and b) spread awarness c) im currently in the investigation of findout out if my car is a rebirth....soo im curiouse about other ppl's if your interested about all this stuff and you want to check your own car read these threads!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu....html&st=20 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/VI...ed-t128496.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...te-t238787.html hope i dont have to tell anyone there car is a rebirth!!

spotted black r34 gtt in kellyville near the woolworths and coles complex...he was behind me for a little while so i didnt see his plates....massive intercooler nice deep dished wheels....sexyy...my mum was in the car and she said mine looked better tho hahahaha i think shes bias haha

yea i know...i need to chillax a bit...breath and all that jazz...i just love my car so much <3...atleast i can be thankfull that it works great....and it looks like its 2 years old....

yea but see....wer talking about diffrent things.....ur talking about odo tampering....but ur car...according to the link i posted in 1st reply....has a genuine blue build plate...where as mine and the guy that pm'd me seem to have fake ones.....my car is perfect btw....it had 68,000 when i baught it...and no wear and tear on the inside of the car....absolutly perfect...same with engine and paint and everything grade a import..or wtvr the grading systen is for jap imorts....but im still freaked out because if i want to sell this thing...and it is a rebuild/rebirth...wtf am i going to do!!

ok this is starting to freak me out....a guy just pm's me saying that he got his r34 from lee's and his plate is engraved..... ill give some more info my car is a 1998 r34 25gt non turbo (im a p plater:P) the guy above me has a GTT not sure wat year... soooo im hope that the non turbo 1998 come with engravings....or else this could be really bad for me...

IT SHOULD NOT BE ENGRAVED... If it's engraved, it has a fake Nissan Build Plate with a fake Chassis Number. These are forged and put on stolen cars with a new and legitimate chassis number. " i checked mine...i have the plastic rivit things...and i ran my fingure over it and its engraved!!!...i pretty sure my car isnt a rebuilld....its been through the works on the legal side...also i got it from edward lees imports dealership...i jsut want other r34 owners to go and check ther blue plates...run ur fingure over it...and please tell me that its slightly engraved!!! another guy posted a reply on the second page of that topic i linked above and said that he went to a dealership and check 3 other r32's and they all had engraved plates....and asked wether the smooth thing applied only to the r33's....and no one answerd him :S so now im freaking out:P and i wants some closure!! Help me R34 owners.....unfortunaly i dont have a handfull of r34's lieing around so i cant go and check hehe

Hi to all who live in the hills area just got a sms from my mate telling me that there is a rta/police defect station set up on showgroud road/showgroud maccas so for all those with little extra mods on there cars even tho we love them.....they dont....so avoid!! besides that...have a good night and drive safe and wat not because double demerits starts tonight aswell at 12am EDIT* opps....apparently they started last night.....either way....dont do anything stupid

Hay everyone!! i tried searching for this in the forums....but i couldnt find anything...but i was sure that i read about it somewhere :S anyway if somone does know where it is just post the link and ill delete the thread my question is....i want to check if they are the origninals becuase i had my car imported in jan 08 and it didnt come with a service history....altho the car is running amazing...i have experieced some mild mild mild shudders during idle that only really the owner would notice (you know what im talking about...after you drive the car long enough u develop this keen sence of your car were only you can see the smallest changes)...that could be just me being paranoid becuase i love my car so much...but either way i want to check and also start saving up for some splitfires when and if the day comes when my coilpacks die! thanxx everyone!! Model: 1998 R34 25GT (non turbo) coupe 2dr (non of this 4 dr BS lol) Tank: not to sure acctaully...but when the needle is just above the E and i fill her up with vortex 98 its around 55L Driving style: the guilt usually gets to me so its a mix of granny and boy racer... running around the hills district i get about 380-400 a tank but on the highway she is beautifull:) she will get about 550-600 out of the 55L tank any other non-turbos in here?!?!

Hay!! I’m a newbie Skyline owner in the hills!! so this will be my 1st meet-up!! Cant freaking wait!! Its kinda good that it’s in nov...because i got hsc during oct so this cruise will be something to look forward to after hsc....amongst other things look foward to putting faces to all these names i have been reading and hearing about see you all there!!
