how much difference between the hks and the tein?

when you say the stock r34 doesnt pull like a single turbo car, how different is it? My friend has a bmw 135i and its power delivery is so linear it doesnt feel like it pulls at all, but it is actually quite fast. How much do they pull with the basic ecu/ebc/exhaust/intake mods?
