Hey guys, this community has helped me so much during my skyline ownership. Unfortunately I have to sell her FOR SALE is my R33 GTST nissan skyline. This car has been my pride and joy for the past 3 years and has been looked after like a newborn baby. Sleek Black with subtle mods, it is semi-sleeper - NO TROUBLE WITH THE POLICE! - all mods are street legal. I've been pulled over once at an inspection point and had 5 highway patrol coppers go over it and then tell me they were IMPRESSED with the condition of the car and its mods. The car itself has the stock body kit but due to large 18" rims looks much lower (stock kit is 10cm from legal limit anyhow). The Rims arn't flashy or showy at all, which is exactly why I like them - subtle. Custom modified stock bumper for maximum airflow to the Front Mount Intercooler, which also has model specific piping to prevent having to cut into the firewall at all. Thousands spent on cosmetic aswell as performance mods - Custom Moulded fibreglass Sub box in the boot along with the Pioneer splits and singles inside pump amazing sound. Just had new paint on various pannels as well as all fluids, new brakes, new tyres, etc. the whole lot. You won't find any other skylines with a good subtle list of mods ready for further modification, or simply to cruise around in. I was in the exact same boat(only just missed it though, and didn't change the license just to drive a turbo car). Ring QLD transport again, the person you were speaking to probably had their wires crossed. If you change your license to qld, and you got your license before the qld cutoff date but after the nsw one, it will go on the old qld licensing system which means you can drive v8/turbocharged vehicles, don't have to display P plates, not limited to P1/P2 speeds, etc. If this wasn't the case i wouldn't have been able to register the car I had when I did, because the system rejects a registration form based on the criteria you enter. If you're registering a turbo 6 while your license says you can't drive it, you can't register it. Let me know if you want any more info. BTW with the exemption forms, said workshop will need to sign them and etc.. basically giving their word (contractually) that you genuinely need to drive said type of vehicles. THEN you need to supply the rego of said vehicles, who they are registered to, etc... And then they can reject it if necessary. Not trying to be a wet blanket, but it looks like you should just change rego over as I did.

I had a FMIC and EBC installed, and boost upped to only 9 psi. Since then I've had a similar sound, when i hit full boost i can hear a metalic whining sound, similar to a supercharger sound. Not sure if the turbo is bad or if its just the sound resonating through the new cooler.

Warhammer: Age of Reckoning (Warhammer online) is an MMORPG (for those of you not up with the acronyms, an online multiplayer game - see WoW ) Its been in development for a while and is being launched in september, the part that is great about it is (and those who play wow will understand) they have placed Oceanic servers in australia! Thats right, decent ping with servers hosted on the east coast (money is on sydney ). Why i'm bothering to tell you guys this, is because my website/forums was actually featured as the Oceanic hub for WAR in their newsletter about a month ago! It may be easier to get a sheet of window tinting that is already faded say from black almost impossible to see through to clear (kinda how you see reflective tinting that fades out) and just get a stencil cutout of whatever you want. Thatway, you can also replicate it easy.

I also have had this beeping noise, Its definately electronic and not a mechanical fault. It happens seemingly randomly when accelerating, its hard to hear due to the sound of the car. Also an R33 S1.

Sounds like they were trying to break in (Rip of the window deflector, Coat hanger down through the seals to the passenger door unlock switch, did it myself to my 33GTST, took about 20 seconds). You got an immobilizer/alarm installed... right? ....right? :S Nissan dealers/Import wreckers would be my bet.

2nd time in a row yesterday, at the exact same spot (which is kind weird, seeing as it was on the highway). I was heading southbound, a yellow R34 (I THINK it was a GTR, not 100%) and he was coming north. twice now, same spot. Just north of the Bermuda street exit on the M1.

I think i'd be interested also, depending on the final cost and when he comes up (gota count the pennies yo)

Warhammer will be bigger then most people think in the australian market. They are having dedicated oceanic servers based in aus... Wouldnt it be nice to play a melee clas that doesnt attack from 20 feet away due to lag?

Yeah, the ones who are pricks about it certainly are. Yeah, that sounds kinda lame But still, i know if i was a copper, it would be imports and modified cars i'd be targetting, because statistically they are more likely to have illegal modifications done to them. It only makes sense, and while it sucks for us, they are doing their job. Some can be pricks about it, but not all are. Like anything, hell Im a Computer tech/network admin, i could be a prick to people at my job too, doesn't mean all IT guys are pricks I don't think i'd be able to be a cop, dealing with the cockheads of society every day would be the worst. I know if someone stole my skyline, the cops be the first people i'd be telling about it :S

Spotted 2 mroe tonight (i was on fire today or something). White R33 GTR on the M1 at tweed, you had bright lights lol, we came along side you and gave u thumbs up, but i duno, it was cycloning outside. Also saw a parked white R32 in coolangatta, couldnt make out any details/plates though.
