Just went to lunch witht he boss and saw 3 skylines. 1st: White R33 parked in the nerang Bunnings carpark, next to a silvia. Had what looked like exhaust marks on the rear bumper? I wasn't up close so couldn't really tell. 2nd: As we were going to the nerang subway (so this is like 20 seconds after i saw the ffirst, for those who know nerang) a cute blonde in an aqua-ish S2 R33 pulled up as we were. I said hey in subway 3rd: As we were sitting down, a white R33 GTR went past the road that goes along the highway. Was there a meet in nerang or something? :S

Saw a white R33 GTR headed southbound on mudgeeraba Rd, near the worongary shopping villiage (the coles). I was turning at the lights, you went past me

I live down here, so its easy for me to attend, but the long weekend coming up is the Wintersun Festival. Cool cars, swing dancing and lots of food. I go every year, but who else goes? I think its great fun, and you get to see some sweet cars. I was originally thinking a cruise form say surfers down to cooly, for wintersun, but finding a park for a large number of cars would be near impossible :S So who'll be there?

Spotted 2 today, 1 Silver R33 S2 on Kennedy drive - across the road from scales fish and chip shop, the GF and I were about to jump into the car when he pulled up in the car park infront of us, I gave him the thumbs up and he gave me a nod, then took off again O_o Were you just saying hello? or wanted to check out the car? was kinda strange, had a massive TRUST sticker on the back window. Also, then went to Coolangatta and saw an R33 (forget the colour, was darkish, maybe dark green?) that had no spoiler and the rear lights replaced with chrome backed ones? or something, and had red dish wheels. I duno, was the craziest looking cosmetic mods, i didnt even know it was a skyline till i saw the front. Very original.

northbound on the goldcoast highway, probably around 8:30 9ish, pulled up at the lights next a dark couloured (was night, couldnt tell) R33 GTR. Looked nice, i was trying to wave he wouldnt look over :S

Just as i was about to take exit 77 (gooding drv) on the M1 southbound a black/grey r32 went past with SAU stickers on the quarter window. i waved but it was a bit late, was inn my black 33.

My GF parked next to an orange R32 at pac fair last night with a MASSIVE decepticon sticker on the back window, she felt the need to call me and inform me of how awesome it was, and that i should buy another transformers sticker for my car :S (had an autobot one on my previous car, that my dad now drives - he still doesn't know what it means). She showed me pics, nice car whoever it is. Also went and saw shutter last night, and when i was leaving there was a white R32 parked near my car too, in the upstairs section of pac fair, outside movies.

I think the bloke who wrote his thesis on it or whatever was very well spoken. He was totally right, and this coverage of car hoons was much more rela thatn the other ones we've seen. Basically said its only a couple of idiots giving us all a bad name, and the governments time, effort and money is better spent elseware - which it is. Im not saying they should stop looking for hoons, hell on my way home yesterday i drove past an SS commadore ute, he felt the need to floor it, spin the wheels and yell WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO out the window as he went past me, only to have to slam his brakes on to prevent hitting the car inffont of him a couple of metres up. They should still have patrols, and alot of people who drive skylines, do it like idiots - its a fact. So if you were a policeman, wouldn't you pull over the priority target? It sucks for us, but thats just how it is. It makes sense.

On the M1 last night, heading south just north of the pines/elanora, a black r32 pulled onto the highway, was in my black r33 Gave hime a wave and got a nod

Spotted a few on the weekend. Silver 33 heading towards nerang on sunday (on hooker blvd/Nerang Broadbeach Rd) Saw a white 33 in Coolangatta, Also drove down some backstreets at coolangatta/tweed (just off Kenedy Drive) and saw a house that Had 2 skylines parked beside it. also see a maroon 33 s2 with maroon rims around tweed/coolangatta alot. ALSO - every day, i drive past a clean white 32 in Kingscliff, thats now for sale?

I havn't been on the forums long either (been lurking for a while though) and can see that Chris has got answering questions down to a fine art. Basically, if he was to write out information heavy posts in response to every single question that he does reply to (often posts are directed AT him) then his hands would have worn off from typing, long long ago. Now, without further hijacking. - Chris, would you recommend simply getting a standalone unit? I assume they would be much cheaper and do the exact same thing.

Hello fellow skyline communitarians. When I Purchased my car, they guy threw in a fiberglass 400r front bar he had. Now after much deliberation, I won't be putting it on, but will be modifying my current front bar instead. If anyone is interested, It is located just near Nerang on the gold coast, being stored at work. I'm looking to just offload it really. So anything over $60 would be fine. Its new, and is in 2 pieces for some reason (I wouldn't know if thats how it is supposed to come or what, it is definately supposed to be in 2 pieces - i.e. its not broken). it appears to be primed and ready to go. So if anyone wants a cheap one on the goldie, let me know. Alright, now I had my audio done recently, which is really quite nice. I have a fiberglass moulded sub corner box for my left hand side of the boot, but there is an ugly hole in the right hand side from where the previous owner had a CD stacker. So, my question is, is it worth the money for a second sub? Do you honestly hear a big difference? I'd be keeping things symetrical so it would be a moulded sub box for the other side and the same sub (12" Infinity, costs a fair bit but pumps SO hard). Is there much gain? I mean, going from no sub > sub is obviously a big difference, but from 1 to 2? Cheers, -Kane
