No, it'll record until the battery goes flat or the card fills up. When you start the camera up, you'll see a display at the bottom of the screen that shows how much recroding time is left on the memory card. Once it's recording, it shows how long the recording has been running. -

Nice vid. I'm glad you got your camera on time. Mount looks solid on that car. Next time try the built in mic and you'll find it works pretty much anywhere. Movie Maker doesn't really work well with HD videos. If you just want to trim the beginning and end and save in the original untouched format, then use MPEG Streamclip free from http://www.squared5.com/ is the go. This will give you the best quality on Youtube with zero quality loss. If you want to edit and add titles etc the get hold of a copy of Pinnacle Studio HD http://pinnaclesys.com Save the finished file to MPEG-4 1080 or 720 Also, if you want to widen the view, use 720P. It widens the view to 140 degrees (from 120 for 1080P) Can be good for some shots. Keep em coming. Cheers from Mark at RaceRecall I've attached some screen grabs from the Muscle Car Masters. Both of these were in the same car, just using the 2 different settings. Hope that helps. -

The internal mic is definitely the go. I've attached a short clip (reduced and pixelated for copyright reasons) to give you an idea of the audio quality. This was in a Aussie race Car with no side windows and the recorder mounted in the front. Radcam HDPro Audio Demo With Internal Mic -

Just waiting for permission to post some video. To whet your appetite, here's a screen grab from Glen Seton's BMW, chasing a very familiar and famous GTR. -

It depends on how heavy the camera you are connecting it too. Me experience is that they move and vibrate too much in a race car. -

There are dealers elsewhere and they will sell under their own brands. RaceRecall.com is the manufacturer's exclusive agent for Aus/NZ. It's a comple kit from the manufacturer, I just ad my own mount kits etc. Beware of some pre-manufacturing "beta" versions being offered elsewhere. They were only meant for testing and are unstable. -

You can use the 12V charger to continuously record video. It keeps the battery charged and it keeps recording. I just did a test today and got 13 hours in 720P on a 32 GB Card. Some car ignition systems may cause interference when the power is connected, but that can be easily rectified with the addition of a noise filter. We did exactly that for filming Top Gear Australia this year. -

Video quality is absolutely awesome. We've got 14 of them at Targa West this weekend and feedback has been excellent. Black Magis Media will be using them as their camera of choice for ARC on One HD etc. Here's some sample video and you can judge for yourself. -

I've just got them in stock. Video quality is good and it has nice strong mounts with a solid tripod thread for roll cage mounts etc. Audio is average but an external mic adaptor is promised in the future. Not suure when this is happening though. Wireless remote and LCD screen work a treat. Godd value for $499.00. -
