Who owns SXCR33? That bodykit on it is insanely nice I was wondering what I was. Pity I live in Queensland would have loved to participate in this, really good cause. Nobody had a show & shine for the floods in Queensland.

Yea i'm worried bout not having compo but in my opinion i'd be better off putting the 2.5k+ away into my bank account and save it for a rainy say rather than hand it over for "possibly" no reason to an insurance company. I know this is what your always gonna do insure "in case shit" but when it's 2.5k it seems kinda pointless... especially when the car is stock at the moment and not really hard to replace.

My quote for JustCars was around the $2500 mark for an 18 yr old but I only just got my P's so thats why the quote is high. With JustCars they ask how long you've had your license for, now i'm assuming that means your P's as it's the first proper license? So how do you answer that question if your still on your L's? My sister wants to insure her car but is still on her L's. I think I might just spend the $500 and get Third Party F&T for now until my rating improves as I don't drive my car like a hoon and I *fingers crossed* won't do something to write off my car. And then once my rating improves i'll get compo and hopefully by then my car will look nicer too

Hey guys before you tell me there is already a topic for insurance I know I read the whole thing it didnt help. What I was wondering is where NA people have gone for there skyline. Is it still classed as performance? Like the turbo ones? I'm on my P's so any quote I get is going to be pretty big for Compo. I was just wondering what kinda quotes other P platers had gotten and from where.

Unfortunately i'm on my P's so a turbo skyline is out of the question. Besides i'm not really interested in going fast ey I like the look of skylines don't really mind about the speed it goes. You could basically call me a poser so yea are the quotes ok or?

Hey guys drove down to DMD today and got a quote on the bodykit and sprays. This is what he gave me. For a full M Sport or BN Style bodykit i'm looking at $990 (Not fitted or sprayed) Add another $1400 to have it fitted and sprayed in the colour of my car. So around the $2500 mark for a full kit in my fairly plain, stock dark blue colour. Or for a full respray in a sky blue with no pearl or anything special $6000 for the spray plus $990 for the kit. So around $7000 for that option... Now at the moment i'm only working part time and wouldn't be seeing $7k for close to a year if I saved a fair bit... What do you all reckon of the quotes for the options I was given. Theres always the third option of just buying the bodykit and getting it fitted and sprayed elsewhere. Or just not getting it sprayed and drive around in a project car Let me know your thoughts

Busy day today saw two R33's at Stones Corner a maroon one covered in stickers and a silver series 2 round the corner. Then on the way home a silver R34 on the Motorway

Spotted a mint orange R33 license plate 01 LIL parked at the Sunshine Plaza on Saturday round midday. Seriouslly nice ride. And another prime custom blue 200SX sitting nice and low.

Thats where im getting confused because on the DMD website that red and black two tone skyline is labelled "Trail" Kit not Trust is this just renaming between shops or is it a mistake on the DMD website? At the moment i'm leaning towards the full Trust Kit or the BN Kit from DMD all of my mates (not skyline owners) think BN is the nicest. At the moment i'm still undecided. While were on the topic of bodykits... What would I be looking at to get the bodykit sprayed in the same colour as the car and while there at it a bit of touch up paint here and there on the car (spoiler and part of the roof). I'm weighing up whether to save up for a little longer and get a complete respray in the colour I want the car to be which is a sky blue. Or just get the bodykit blended into the stock "Ocean Blue" paint. What do ya reckon fellas?

Did a bit of hunting and found the front to the Trial Kit, I think its okay the only problem is i'm driving a NA R33 which means i'm not gonna have an intercooler sittin behind the bodykit... i'm thinking a fine mesh grill chromed would look okay instead of the intercooler? what do ya's reckon?

Yea I knew the front was from Carmate, they call it an MST Style front I think. Only problem is there in Sydney and I haven't heard great things about em whereas DMD in brisbane I've heard great things about so I was hoping to find something similar at a bodykit shop in QLD. And yea i'll attempt to track down a nice rear bumper i'm pretty picky bout em too. PS. Your missus has a mint skyline, whats the white strip on the back in the pictures of the rear bumper though I couldn't work it out :S at first I thought it was tape holding the bumper on Edit: Well DMD has a website however the pics are a bit below average... these are the similar bodykits i've found. This one seems quite similar to me? And this is the M-Sports one mentioned They call this one Trail but they haven't got any front pics of it? If anyone has a front pic i'd love to see it.

Hey Guys i'm currently lookin out for a new bodykit for my 94 R33 GTS. I haven't heard good things about Carmate but there is a bodykit on there that is the exact look I am going for. Anyways long story short anyone know where I can find this bodykit or a similar design preferably in QLD. I don't want anything flashy with vents every which way just looking for a bodykit with nice clean lines. Heres the pic of the Carmate one. Cheers Pez PS. Hey kind of a wierd request but I need the little metal ring and black surround on the outside of the car where the aerial comes out as mine were broken during a bodgy installation. Let me know if this is possible and whether it can be posted as I live in Queensland. Cheers Pez
