  1. Not once the data is in there. You'd have to edit your graph and change all the values so the javascript picks up the onchange event. I may write a script to update all values but probably not this week.
  2. Does anyone have a dyno graph with both speed and rpm? Would be interested to see how close the theoretical conversion is.
  3. Project Mu via Greenline. Autobarn were useless when I asked about DBA rotors. Still waiting (2 weeks) for a response from the local RDA dealer, so I've given up looking for a local product.
  4. It's go live time. Thanks to the testers for giving the site a good shakedown over the last week. Dyno Site A few "rules" need to be followed: 1. Do not enter junk data. You can still view other people's graphs even if you don't have one of your own. 2. Do not sign up with crap details. If I see any dodgy logins created I will delete them, the car(s) and the dyno runs associated with those logins. 3. Do not forget your password. The password is encrypted in the database so I can't tell you what it is, and I haven't created myself a password reset page yet. 4. Report bugs to my email (zilla34 at gmail.com) with username and screen shots where possible. 5. Add suggestions for future enhancements in this thread. Keep in mind, if this site gets abused I will pull it down. Suggestions: 1. Sign up with the same username you have on SAU. 2. Add dyno type, location and shootout mode to dyno descriptions. If there are any graphic designers who want to do some screen layout concepts send them to my email and I'll look at making it look pretty for version 2.0. Have fun and play nice with it. Willo.
  5. No idea. I think I read they were N1 spec rears but I'm really not sure.
  6. As per the Project Mu application list: BNR34 (~M/C) (Ser I) Front: 324×30 Rear: 300×22 BNR34 (M/C~) (Ser II) Front: 324×30 Rear: 322×22
  7. Testers found, PMs sent, thanks guys.
  8. I need two testers to upload their dyno data and generally give the site a shakedown. It would also be helpful if you know your tyre size and gear ratios to test the RPM/Speed conversions. PM if you are interested.
  9. I haven't mentioned my daily rate yet Ok, this is a spare time project so don't expect results yesterday. And while I will listen to suggestions don't expect miracles. The first phase will consist of: - a database to store car, rpm (any rpms should work and not specifically those in the spreadsheet), power at each rpm(kw), engine type, turbo type, and a description field to outline mods. - a php page with a list of cars - a graph page showing output for the selected cars - possibly a page to add your own data (if this gets abused I will pull the site) Once this is done I will start looking at extras/wishlists. And if someone else is going to build the same thing speak now and I won't bother, as I can't be assed with duplicate effort. Now we have the rules, I'll start building.
  10. Graphing it is pretty easy. Is there really enough interest to bother turning this into a database and pulling the data dynamically?
  11. Here's a spreadsheet that will calculate speed based on rpm or rpm based on speed. You will need to know your tyre size, gear used, ratio for that gear and final drive. You can change the series of rpms or speeds to suit. The example is using a R34 GTR in 5th gear for the rpm series used in the power spreadsheet. It would be interesting to see how accurate the speed calculation is as it is theoretical and doesn't take into account real world conditions. speed_rpm_calc.zip
  12. You'd fill in tyre size, gear used, ratio and final drive, and a series of RPM values.
  13. Does anyone want a calculator for theoretical speed based on tyre size, rpm, gear ratio and final drive? It might be useful for explaining differences in speed between cars at the same rpm.
  14. In. Has anyone organised magazine coverage?
  15. Sorry, if it's not listed I don't have it for sale.
  16. EPS = Encapsulated PostScript Get the apple writer printer driver and install it on your system. Then print the image to file and you should be able to pick EPS as an output format. It's been a while since I've used postscript but if I get a chance today I'll see what I can do.
  17. Yes but it has nothing to do with drift.
  18. Buy an Option magazine when you arrive. The one I bought while over there had 4 pages of car shop advertisements. I asked one of the guys working at the hotel I stayed at to pick the close ones and translate a few directions.
  19. Just my opinion (and it is often misguided at best) but keep the classes simple along the lines of: FWD RWD AWD and within each class have a code to indicate tyre choice as: ST - Street SS - Semi-slick SL - Slick and have a flag for turbo/na. If the times are all stored in a database and the web site pulls from the database the end user can sort the results any way they please eg. top 10 outright, top 10 in a class, top 10 on SS etc. etc.. But I do believe the front page top 10 should be best of the best regardless of setup. Comments/suggestions/flamage etc.?
  20. Just to clarify, the first tuner I went to had a lot of dramas and I ended up taking it to Mark Jacobsen at Godzilla Motorsport and he had no problems at all. At the time I would say I was one of the first D-Jetros in Brisbane but I would say by now there are quite a few people who can tune them. And as for fuel economy, I've never referred to any GTR as having excellent fuel economy with any ECU.
