  1. I'm definately no expert but my 33 GTR made a whistling noise from the turbo side of the engine for a while, and then an exhaust gasket went. Maybe just a warning sign that a gasket is on the way out?
  2. Can anyone confirm if the Power FC D Jetro comes with a base map? I have been told it doesn't but can't find any documentation to confirm. I am currently running no AFMs and would like to replace the ECU (no idea what the current ECU is, looks stock from the outside but obviously isn't) with an ECU that does the same. I'm assuming this software works with all versions of the Power FC? If no base maps are supplied, are you confident your tuner can tune the Jetro from the ground up?
  3. I'm in.
  4. I have pics of both, Neil parked in the dirt, Warwick facing the wrong direction. Didn't get JL, it was too dark by that stage.

  7. Not sure if this helps any, allows the TV to play a video source such as a DVD player etc. http://www.gtrcentral.com/technical/how_to/
  8. Think Pete was knocked out by the guy who won as well.
  9. Ditto.
  10. Not really scratched, more tarnished in a couple of places. Might clean up. It's a screw on.

  12. I should have pointed out this was not our car or furniture, we had a ute. Practical but nowhere near as amusing as these clowns.
  13. After a recent trip Squizz and I took to Super A-Mart, it was decided we needed to pass on the knowledge we gained in moving furniture. I think the most important tip is be prepared. 1. Have a suitable vehicle, a 1980s Mazda 626 Tourer with roof racks. 2. Have suitable straps to tie down the furniture, one occy strap will do, two may be required, two plus a piece of wire, a shoe lace and a sheet is ideal. 3. Don't bother learning how to use the adjustable tie down strap you remembered to bring as it won't be required with the above straps. 4. Brind a friend with enough common sense to suggest using two occy straps instead of one (but not enough common sense to work out the proper tie down strap). 5. Test the load is secure by pushing it once and if it moves less than a foot it is secure. 6. Drive 20 metres before deciding two occy straps isn't going to cut it, just to be sure, then join the piece of wire and sheet together to make a third tie down strap. There you have it, easy. You think I'm kidding?

It is one of these, not sure if it's a copy or not. Sorry about the picture quality. http://www.garagespank.com/images/DSC01767.JPG
  15. Tempting but I'll pass.
  16. Wasn't me. I have heard reports of at least one other, if not two other white R34 GTRs in Brisbane.

    QLD raceway

I'd love to but I've been told that I'll only get a couple of laps without an oil cooler, and not much more with an oil cooler. Not sure that I'd want to pay money when I can only push it hard half the time. It would be good to go with a group of newbies though, don't want to make an ass of myself while running with the big boys. http://www.queensland-raceway.org.au/publi...blic_drive.html
  18. I went down Corro drive about 12 last night. Didn't think I was making much noise though.
  19. Both of my cars were at the drift day. Saw Alex from a distance as well. Was going to get a photo in daylight for a change but wasn't quick enough.
  20. :headspin:
  21. Was going to wave but wasn't sure who to wave at.
