I drove thru the hail storm in my 21yr old A31 Cefiro and the only damage was pin prick dents in the roof which u can only see if u look hard enough, all the windows survived which i was sooo surprised about. Awsome hardy car but i would say MOST reliable.

I have the two tone - black and silver Ceffy I would love to go on a cruise with other ceffies. And yes, i agree with Jason. They're a pain in the arse but it would break my heart if i ever sold her. I am keeping her forever

i've had a mechanic working on it for the past three days lol, i swapped the missing cylinders coilpack with a working one and still remained in cylinder 6 which means its not the coilpacks. Well, i think we found the problem. We took the plenum top off and replaced the gasket goo (gasket looked fine) and worked ALOT better, but the miss was still slightly there. We then relised we'd snapped a bloody vacuum hose. So will replace that and i'll still test the ecu just to make sure its not playing tricks on me. Fingers crossed the hose fixes the problem.

Cleaned afm and everything looked normal and still no change A friend has sourced an ecu, gonna try that iether tonight or tomoro night. Will keep an update, for future readers

Help!! My RB20 Cefiro has been missing/running on 5cyl for about a month now on and off, more when the engine is warm. I originally bought it with a miss, replaced a coilpack and it worked fine. But then the problem has came back; its in cylinder 6 (closest to firewall) List of things i've tried: -Changed the coilpack -New spark plugs and re-gapped -Replaced the coilpack loom - Borrowed an ignitor from a running RB20 - Re-wired/Re-earthed the coilpack loom earths - Pulled injectors out and put them back in (made car idle lower then back to normal) - Tried a bigger battery - ECU Diagnostic check - code "55" = All Ok - checked all coilpack wires from ignitor to ecu I also checked the spark and cylinder 6 has a very weak spark and cylinder 1 has a very strong spark, what causes this? So now i'm running out of ideas. Am thinking about borrowing an rb20 ecu and maybe doing a compression check, just to rule that out. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dani

They are quite an old turbo, but still work bloody well. Not sure on the best place to get them as i'm from Perth so might need to ring around or check ebay or yahoo japan. The KKR's are newer and stronger, as long as they're genuine, not china crap. So up to you on if u wanna spend a bit more for better quality and just get a KKR430 or KKR480 would be better off for a 20/25. Do you have a 20 or 25? T04e from memory are T4 flange so u will need an adapter plate to fit the RB's, you can get them off ebay or try a local jap dealer. I'm not sure if it will fit on a stock mani as there isnt much room down there, u may need to get a high mount mani, which will make it lagier BUT will look uber wicked cool lol Well thats my 2 cents. Bit of an update on my Ceffy, not much done to it so far but over the next month it will be spoilt. Plans for Motorvation - (the only Ceffy in MV2010) HKS evc 3 boost controller - getting installed on Wednesday Turbo upgrade - rb25 turbo + new metal gaskets etc New turbo timer FMIC + piping and blue silicone New zorst New 52mm Radiator with thermo fans and new blue radiator hoses Find another pair of SSR Stitch's as i only have one pair Boost gauge Oil Pressure gauge Full Detail - cut + polish (thinking bout putting some vinyl stickers on the break up the 2 tone) Possibly get my old plates back as they're still under my name Engine Strut brace Front body kit or lip, not sure yet - depends on availability and price. ummmm....probably add some more things to the list pending on my funds haha.

hmm...i only want the front kit and cant justify $1000 for it lol. You know i'm cheap, another alternative for now is a s13 front lip.....find out for me Nic lol
