  2. hi guys, im in sydney looking for: * tunned r33 ecu (please let me know what u have it tunned for as i have several buyers who have different mods to their cars)... * interior r33 s1 panels , cheap but clean... * HID kit for r33 used is fine.
  3. i dont know who mods this forum, and how a post gets locked without a chance for the initial question to be explained anyway... im curious how i can get the ecu to not panic when it sees a bad (over lean or rich) reading for the OXYGEN sensor, not the mass air reading (aproached using safc)... i know all about safc and power fc etc but the ecu is going into R&R from the oxygen sensor
  4. guys im having the exact same issue as this guy: http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/...kings-over.html im curious who in australia can simply remap my r33 (same as guy above) to ignore a/f reading? or if there is another workaround... (e.g instead of remapping the ecu would it work to setup a voltage regulator before the ecu to prevent the ecu from seing the panic amount of a/f voltage)
  5. hi guys, im personally not into fog lights being used as indicators , seems abit early 90s to me that is.... so ive re-wired my front side lights (first stage low beam i think their refered to as) now i just need to figure out what the wattage difference is as they seem to blink fast now , im guessing due to the light not being the right wattage?? i could be wrong.

  8. i bought these from repco bkr5eix 1139 , apparantly their supposed to be 0.8mm =/ i didnt measure them because i cant find my tool
  9. hi guys, it looks like the windscreen spray hose is cut on my r33 93 gtst.... does anyone have pics or a nice way of explaining where that hose should be connected to?
  10. hi guys, im about to do some research now, but im curious how your managing with boosting a r33 on stock ecu, are you running out of fuel up high, i know i can always get apexi or power fc and a tune, but what are you skyline owners finding a good cheap but effecient alternative?

  12. wow so sorry guys i totally forgot to type up the car (doing work and forum[ing] ) its a 1993 r33 problem, power steering fluid is topped up fine..
  13. hi guys, every now and then the hicus light will come on and stay solid, the steering wheel will be very stiff at that point, however the car doesnt seem in limp mode as it performs normally engine wise... i tried the diagnostic thing: 1) start car 2) within two second turn left to right 5 times 3) brake 5 times (then hicus light comes on solid) 4) move forward for a 5 metres less then 10km/h and stop but hicus light jsut stays solid and sometimes even doing that test makes my steering stiff again =/
  14. issue fixed, the guy had the bov top port disconnected.
  15. is everyone else finding their skyline r33 idling at 1,000rpm? i was wondering if thats not normal, what you guys think may be the cause.?

  17. nah i have an after market ebay job gauge, im curious how the stock solinoid is connected , my assumption is the top hose goes out into the air intake system... the button hose sits between a boost source and the actuator correct? does it matter with the top hose which point its supposed to plumb the air too (e.g. pre any sensors?)
  18. okay more research done on this forum and know i understand on the solinoid the top goes to plumb back (air intake) and the botton of the solinoid goes to a T which intercepts the actuator and the intake (seing boost) correct?

  20. thank you for the replies guys, is there anyway to bypass the solinoid ive read stuff on disconnecting it and putting a straight plastic host instead of it?
  21. hey guys, ive just taken ownership of an r33 skyline , man you guys are lucky, there freakin fun to drive... anyway thats not the reason of my post... my question is, the turbo on this 1993 r33 gtst skyline wont go over 4psi... what could be causing it to limit? From my previous experience boost limit can be caused by: a) ecu limiting boost (but its only 4psi not the 12/14psi margin) b) boost leak (will need to pressure test it) c) exhaust leak in external wastegates however its an internal in this one d) screwed turbo (hmmm?) I dont mind if its any, as im confident with the help on these forums i can change it, can anyone think of another issue? i notice a slight whislte noise when im driving but i dont think thats turbo related as it doesnt get louder, its more constant, and only happens when im moving (if it where turbo i think itll happen slightly while idle as its still spinning) i just need a bit of your nissan experience on this kind of issue if possible.

  23. hey fellas, im in sydney and wanting to buy a turbo (size isnt an issue atm) for a project car, it must have a t3 downpipe flange and t3 manifold flange... its to replace my ebay t04e turbo and i dont want to change the whole setup
