still not 100% sure, but would increasing the fuel pressure (rising rate) lower the duty required but the injector or increase it?

did the vht engine block paint on my coils (fire red). Seems to keep em cooler and works great. The only problem is they take a long time to dry.

ive had the same problems, but in the end im purchasing new coils, they are not spitfire ones. This guy in NZ is selling them cheap and provides a good spark. http://gdz1la.kol.co.nz/ i have purchased it and yet to put it in, but the feedback from customers is great. No more missing at idle or revs.

Team Krazy i was thinking about this difference also, as i have just changed my spark plugs. I recommend the BKR7E. But i think 7's is a little cold for winter. 6's are better suited in our conditions. The BCP6RES-11 are good plugs if you like your power delivery to be strong and hard. But if you like smooth power delivery and purring idle BKR7E. Overall i think its just a preference regarding power delivery, but i give the BKR7E a big thumbs up. Perhaps the length difference of the spark plug (BCP6ES and BKR6E), does affect the coils performance. But i cant comment on any issues. But would like to hear from other members about this issue. Just another question on this issue. When your gap from stock 1.1 goes to 0.80, i think you loose a bit of power & Strength of spark. Is there a way to keep a high ignition spark? any comments? regards AK

change spark plugs to coppers and gap em to 0.8. worked for me. If else fails have a look at your coils, they do cause problems for many r33s and there are many solutions.

My experience with platinums are they are overpriced but idle smooth. Also they should not be gapped otherwise you destroy a special coating. Also i have found they cause mis-fire problems on my car at standard gapping. As soon as i changed to coppers the boost felt stronger and no misfire. I also change em every 5000k no problems. But thats my opinion.
