Something to keep in mind - EMF told me that the reconditioned ones are calibrated against a genuine one. Calibration might be an issue on a generic one, especially if you are after fuel economy.

EMF - I think.... They are at the Gabba. They actually seemed to be a division of Ford but are run independently or something. I got a 12 month replacement deal, reconditioned one, for a couple hundred bucks.
