  9. Is prolly the same green 'line. The one I have seen parked at Milton I have also seen out Kenmore way more than once. I previously said 'R badges' because it didnt look quite right to me, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to go getting the owners nose out of joint...
  10. Stagea, silverstone grey, little dinged down one side. Sylvan Rd. and Coronation Dr. Monday evening. Anyone seen this before or the owner on here? There is also a green speedskyzer regularly parked at Toowong with R badges...
  11. I have sent you an email re: center console bin lid and lidded dash pocket. :-)
  12. Some facts and figures I have collected from around the place... (NOTE: I do not advocate a complete absence of speed enforcement - I do, however, object to inappropriate law enforcement in the name saving lives. If you want to save lives, be serious about it with well founded strategies). ~ Taking into account the growing number of road users, the proportion of deaths on Australian roads has actually been falling every year since 1980. In 1980 there were approx. eight million cars on the road (well before the introduction of speed cameras/lasers) with 2954 deaths. In 2002 there were approx. twelve million cars on the road with 1717 deaths - approx. a forty two percent fall in the total road toll for Australian roads. Source - 'Fatal crash data' from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau. ~ Accidental falls kill as many people in Australia every year as fatal car accidents. Hmmm...I wonder how the government can start enforcing a system of fines for our own protection when it comes to ladder safety issues.... ~ Almost 2500 people take their own life every year in Australia. Since 1990, suicide has been a more common cause of death for males than road accidents. Source - Flinders University Research Centre for Injury Studies. ~ In 2002, Queensland had an eight percent rise in the road toll from the preceding year (total number of people killed). This was despite an increased number of speed cameras/lasers and a large jump in the total revenue raised from them. Source - 2002/2003 Queensland Police Report. ~ The road toll in Victoria has been increasing since 1999. In the 2002-2003 fiscal year it is estimated that the Victorian Government will earn approx. $334 million from speeding fines. More than half of this amount will come from 0-15kph over fines. ~ The road toll in NSW last year was the worst since 1995 (up nineteen percent on 2001). In the same year, the total number of speed cameras/lasers was increased from 58 to 100. It is estimated (conservatively) that these 100 cameras will raise $180 million dollars in fines in 2003 - NONE of which will go into road safety initiatives and is a total approx. double that of the amount currently spent on the total road safety budget. Source - NRMA CEO, Rob Carter. ~ In Queensland, sixty percent more people are involved in alcohol linked fatal crashes than in speed linked fatal crashes. In 2001-2002 there were 452,000 traffic infringement notices issued, yet only 24,641 drink driving infringement notices were issued. Source - 2001-2002 Queensland Police's Report. ~ In 2002, the Victorian speed tolerance was cut to 3kph. The ADR's (Australian Design Regulations - the Federal design and safety laws and manufacturing regulations for all vehicles built, imported or sold in Australia) make a 10% allowance for speedometer inaccuracy. That is, 54 to 66 kph in a 60kph zone, 90 to 110 in a 100kph zone etc. Draw your own conclusions people.
