Hey all, hope someone can help. I'll give u all a run down, this is all I can think that's different. About a month ago I got a new remote start alarm and then didn't drive the car for over 3 weeks so when I went to start it the battery was flat, no biggy, let it run for a while and been driving it a fair bit so battery is charged but now ever since the battery went flat the idle has been fluctuating alot, almost like I have lumpy cams. Which aint all bad But this probably happens about 50% of the time. WTF! The car's never done it before so I'm not sure what's going on. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Damn, those tyre stacks! It was unevitable, eventually It was going to happen. Coulda been alot worse tho, like the commo that pretty much wrote off the front end. It was an awesome night! Loved every minute of it till the last scando entry into turn one that didn't turn out so well. Meh, what u gonna do, it's done now.
-
Nah, although the car does have the dori teks on the back ready for sat. Haven't driven it in about 2 weeks, should really take it for a quick drive make sure all is good.
-
Yea, I'll be out chucking skids! Soooo pumped, haven't gone out in ages. Can't wait! And hell yea I'll be busting out scandos Craig. I think it's due.

I'm not entering anymore, I'll go and watch the 1st one. Maybe next time. I've got a feeling that the organisers are gonna be a bit anal with everything. Also, It starts at 11am till night time. That's gonna be a full-on day. Everything's gonna be rushed. But hopefully it works, if so, I'll definately be there at the next one!

Mines' tuned RB20det ECU I've heard these have the speed limiter taken out (never taken the car over 180kph so not sure) and redline fuelcut increased slightly, not 100% sure tho. $250

So If I was to buy one from a wreckers, what would I call it? Just a speedo cable? What year navara?
-
Cool, so it's a bit easier than I thought. So what the navara end connects into the rb20 cluster? I'll definately be hitting u up for this adrian. Now, does anone have a good rb25 box lying around?

My stock gearbox on the 32 is due for a rebuild shortly as there seems to be alot of crunching going on in there (and yes I do know how to use a clutch). I've been told it's my syncros. But lately I've been thinking about doing a rb25 gearbox conversion instead, how hard is it? Has anyone done it before? Is it even worth it? I know i'm gonna need a different tailshaft. Does it have to be a custom shortened 32 one? What's involved with the speed sensor, coz i've heard it's a different setup. Does it bolt straight onto the rb20? I think i'm way over my head here. Too many questions, that cant be a good sign.

Yeah, it was a bit dissapointing, Haven't been on a psi cruise in ages and was really looking forward to it. Oh well. Next time maybe........
-
Looks sweet with all the cars being white! U need a pair 32's?

The day didn't turn out too bad considering. I was really dissapointed in my car. Found out on the day that my clutch fan is completely screwed, so I was getting too hot half way through the session. I had to take it easy for about 2 laps to let it cool a bit so I could give it some stick again. Also, the tyres that I normally buy, they've stopped making so I had to buy different this time, (which I was spewin with considering I absolutely loved my other ones). So I bought some proxes4's, which really let me down. Didn't like them at all, even in the hills they're terrible, way too much tyrewall flex. I had them on the rear and the back end felt like something was loose. So I put them on the front and I lost response on the front end but at least the rear felt better. Then just before the 4th session when I started the car I could hear this airey noise from near my turbo and realised "Great! my exhaust manifold is warped" Hopefully it's just the gasket. You could hear the exhaust coming out when you revved it a bit. I was spewin! In the end I just got the shits on and said that's it. I didn't want anything else to go wrong. Just watched the 5th session and left. Also one of my mate's aircon pipes was too close to his dump pipe and it melted through and made a massive white cloud when all the gas escaped(when I was behind him I thought it was him locking a wheel). When we got into the garage we noticed his left windscreen waterjet leaking water and hissing, which we thought was a bit weird, so we popped the bonnet and the a/c pipe had caught on fire! It also melted his oxy sensor wires and they were shorting and sparking! At least we saw it in time so it didn't bubble any paint or anything. But far out! What an eventfull day. I took my car too drift school and was worried that drift would be worse for my car that grip but I'm not sure anymore. I went to the school and not one thing went wrong. But I spose your not pushing it too the limit in drift. And that was my 1st grip day experience, I think I'm going to be traumatised for life. Sitting in a corner, rocking back and forth, just repeating under my breath "no more grip days, no more grip days" Haha. It was still a good day though. I did enjoy it. It was good meeting you Andrew and sorry I never caught up with you Mark, as you can see we had enough too keep us occupied. Cheers for the good pics Steve, I've already saved them haha.
