I want to get a fairly decent clutch that isn't too hard for driveability but that can still take a hammering at about 200-220kw. Money aside, Is a twin plate a good idea for me (they're softer arn't they?) or reckon I can get away with a single?

LOL! I cracked up! I get a whining noise too but it's when the car is on. Usually when I let the clutch out too quickly or boostin it. Actually it's more of a whine with a bit of a sh*tty attiutude. Actually now saying that, it's only when my girlfriend is in the car. Ahh, explains everything. I need to get that part fixed. LOL

You know how many times I've changed the date on this cruise! Well yeah, you do. It's already been settled for the 12th, the word is out. If I change it again I'll look like a noob (probably already do, but u get that) The date stays.

I've already got a heavy right foot that's why my licence ain't no more, although my left foot might just need a work out then. I do plan on more mods in the future. Just bought the car recently. Maybe about 220 at the wheels, i'd be happy.... until I got bored.

well if I'm not gonna boost it I might as well drive the daily commodore. haha. That was the whole point of buying a 32. Cheers for the advice tho. well the 32 is gonna be off the road for 6 months anyway. I was thinking something like a twin plate clutch coz it's not so heavy. Good idea or bad???

Mine's pretty much stock besides an intercooler, pod and zorst so no major power and it's sometimes slipping in high revs in 1st and if I dump it in 2nd it's half slip half grip. It's just starting to go.

Mine's on it's way out too. I'm starting to get a bit of slip now. Haven't started researching into yet. Don't know what sort to get. So i'm very interested in this thread!!!

Forgot. haha. I had never imagined how hard it was to organise a date for a cruise. For a city that is so boring, there's alot of sh*t happening on weekends.

101 in a 80. Actually wasn't doing it on purpose this time, just in dream land and wasn't paying attention (damn brain!). It was just outside gumeracha on the way to kersbrook via checkers hill rd. Don't know if you know it, but yeah. Didn't even see him till I saw the lights come up behind me. How much (very rough estimate) would a lawyer be for this type of thing? I have no idea on lawyer costs, never needed one. Busing it isn't really an option from Gumeracha. It's a rarity..... and especially at 6 in the morning. Anyone want to go for a hills run every morning to pick me up??? hahaha.......... (I'm depressed)

Just lost my last demerit points this morning on the way to work! Damn Cop Bike! Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any tricks to avoid losing ur licence (please dont say "don't break the law") I already know that...... and at this point of time, it's not funny. It's gonna kill me if I lose my licence for 6 months! I've already appealed my licence and was 7 months into the "good behavior" period. Is there anything I can do???? I've heard you can go to court and ask just to drive to and from work only. But I don't know if that's just bulls#%t. Any ideas???

Anyone know of, or organising any cruises this weekend? Friday, saturday or even sunday night? I've got an RDO Monday so sunday night's got the green light! haha. I know RCK (Ragerz) cruise is on sat night but don't really want the attention. But since I started this Thread, I suppose I should post up what cruises I know of.

Sounds good, but there's a better place to watch the rally on chainy's........ Actually, forget it, this stage is always on the thursday. I took the day off last year. I'm a rally nut!! Sounds like a good idea but is there anywhere else we can go to watch it? I thought that the stafford ridge spectator area last year was a bit of a dissapointment. The corner is a 90 degree and most of the cars take it fairly easy through there (my opinion), compared to other sections of the rally, there's not much room to hang it out sideways. Does anyone know any secret spots????

I've driven chain of ponds every day for the past 9 years and have never ever seen or felt black ice before and I leave for work at 5:45-6:00 in the morning. But i dont know, maybe I'm just lucky. But I'm always keen for a hills cruise. Let me know where and when and I'll be there!
