    GTR, daily driver, not Kerry Packer's bank account? keep dreaming mate. I suggest looking for a stock / not so modified one which isn't fresh from Japan. a stock GTR is nothing to frown upon in terms of performance.

    no receipts issued for darker than legal tint (< 35%) as he can get in trouble for it. You'll get a receipt if it's legal. Mirror tint is illegal. I got mine done in the group buy a while back. My tint is still very dark (18%) and nothing wrong with the tint job.

    I bought a steering wheel puller from autobarn and it came off shortly after that. It was still a hell of a fight to take it off even with the kit (I thought I snapped the centre bolt when the wheel popped off). New wheel's on and it's good but the horn button is slightly different to the one I had. So no horn at the moment. I'm gonna see how much it is to get the old one re-trimmed, anyone had experience with this?

    I need the horn button for a R32 GTR wheel. I changed my wheel but the old R32 horn doesn't fit, it's a different type. The wheel I need it for has the plastic t-shaped molding at the back of the wheel.

    the only problem is that they're pricey and hard to come by there is a small adjustment to be made with the bonnet latch as they're different.

    I'll try it again tomorrow morning. If that fails I'll have to bite the bullet and grab a puller thingymejig.

    the nut is still on but only slight (so when it does come off it won't smack me in the face). side to side tapping? I hit it at 3o'clock and 9 o'clock hard (from the side) is that what you mean?

    I know how to do it but the bastard won't come out. I've hit the crap out of it (even with a mallet) and it won't budge. WD40 doesn't help either any ideas?

    what's wrong with pressure hoses? $3 at carlovers plus a bit of elbow grease gets my baby all looking nice.

    I was in the same predicament a little while ago. I figured that for it's price the Skyline is unmatched with an SR20DET 180SX the only competitor. The only other cars I would want are double the R32 price (DC2 Type R) or tripled (VZ SS Ute). R33's are too big

    hehe my fuel gauge is broken I just filled it up yesterday but it still shows empty. Works occassionally. The car was on when (but stationary) when the photo was taken. When the gauge did work I could only remember seeing the needle on E someonestolecc - thanks. I took apart the dash and used plastic cleaner. Then I did an armourall job on it.

    RB20's have no torque (compared with a RB25). I went with a R32 because it looks better. Generally speaking Skylines are very robust performance cars, I guess the thing to look out for it the condition of the car (seats, carpet, steering wheel, how the gearbox feels, how dirty the motor is, how it sounds, window and door seals etc...)

    I changed my cat back to a 3" system, no centre resonator and it's pretty loud. Annoying loud in fact. If you've got a R32 and want to buy my exhaust PM me. (4.5" tip) the only other car I've heard louder than my exhaust is that stupid 13B 'rolla yesterday...damn that rotor sound gets annoying. barpbarpbarpbarpbarpbarpbarpbarp
