it all comes down to how well the car's been looked after. My wasn't all that good however it is a very reliable car, the only time I've broken down was when my alternator died and my battery went flat. I wouldn't skimp on security if I were you. Skylines are often targets for thieves (just do a search for "stolen"). club locks and ignition barrel switches are easy to by pass. kill switches are only as good as they are hidden.

can I ask why you're selling the flywheel? (also did you lose much torque with the lightened flywheel?)

holy crap! some of this stuff is really cool like the drink coolers and that data logger thing. and those roof visors are cool. I've only ever seen one R32 with them.

since I bought my R32 nearly a year ago I've had to go through a fair amount of repairs. Some of these things include: fuel pump, clutch cylinders, alternator, head gasket. Some of the things I need to fix are: turbo gasket, gearbox, tie rods. Overall it's a very reliable car if it's maintained well. Obviously my previous owner didn't. Because you're getting a 89 model, I'm guessing you're buying a non stock one? If anything I'd probably import a later model (93) but in stock form. They're fairly cheap to modify and get power from. The only real weakness with the car would be the gearbox but that's only if you've got a lot of power. Oh and this is my daily driver as I can't afford anything else. It is a pleasure to drive however in heavy traffic it becomes a burden. If you're getting 3rd party only I'd at least get a tracking alarm like Quiktrack.

:werd: here's my suggestion: Automotive have 3 sub forums (General, Motorsport, Importation...) so combine Skyline, Ceffy, Stag etc...into General get rid of the bodykit sub forum For World & Other Things I reckon scrap a lot of it as they're isn't enough traffic to warrant their use. Move everything into The Wasteland except Japan. Probably best to delete National events if each state has their own Events forum. And I don't think their needs to be an archive forum for each event forum.

DezertEagle - you should have about 10-12psi if you've got a full 3" turbo back exhaust.

Alex Au - price? I had NGK Platinum 1.1's and got them changed to 0.8 Iridiums today and so far seems a tad more responsive...but maybe thats my mind playing tricks on me.

I've got the Tomei locking kit and my Hicas warning light still comes on whenever I'm pushing it around a corner. I'm going to grab a Kazama lock bar to make sure it's hicas-less...

are you sure about the windscreen wiper thing? Type M's have a LSD, slightly larger brakes which have like cooling fins on them. Sideskirts and a different front bar.
