  1. anyone remember that green forester a few issues back? I saw that on the road yesterday, the damn things quiet as! I've never heard a modded boxer with such a quiet exhaust. lumpy idles > *
  2. I'm tossing up between HID's, a racing seat or some rims...
  3. I think this is for the main headlight. the other light is a "driving light".
  4. :werd: and that EVO is damn nasty!
  5. if we have "vendor verdict" type comments the "vendor" may deem that as discriminatory...SAU will be in big trouble if it gets to that. Something like this happened in the past on the OCAU forums. Subsequently "vendor verdicts" aren't allowed.
  6. too true. There was an Advan thread a few weeks back where people had mixed responses, same for UAS. Probably the best thing to do is have a thread with only your OWN personal experiences with workshops.
  7. I ran 12psi with my stock cooler for ages without an issue. A front mount isn't necessary but you do notice the lack of response in warmer tempretures. for boost gauges and gauges in general I'd be sticking with the Jap brand gauges (Blitz, Apexi, HKS, GReddy etc...) reason being is the quality. I believe meggala had a speco meter boost gauge which was telling him that he was running less than 1 bar unfortunately the gauge was wrong and he was running about 1.4bar and it blew his turbo. I think that's what happened if memory serves me correctly.
  8. armbrusb - here are the pics. sorry about the delay. Also I'd rather that they get sold in one hit (i/c and pipe). someonestolecc - the subs are being sold to Z32 Airlines. If he backs out then I'll PM you.
  9. 2rismo - being a SAU-NSW member did nothing for me with famous, but I still went with them regardless. But forking out $3000 a year is mighty expensive
  10. I envy your fuel consumption! I get about 350 when the light comes on. 400's my best with a lot of highway driving. I don't drive hard (shift before 4 grand). My only mods are exhaust, front mount, pod, fuel pump. I run at 11.5psi (0.8bar). I'm currently searching for a Z32 O2 sensor. Hopefully that will help me get to 400 daily driving...I'll be very happy with that.
  11. how long will this deal be around for?
  12. after side skirts and rear pods projector style headlights
  13. there's no need for an LSD on normal street usage...but that's up to you. You don't need a hicas locking kit if you want drift action, it just makes it a little bit harder to do so. GTS-t or GT-R? if it's a R then you won't need to worry about a FMIC as the stock one is very good.
  14. you can get one of the HKS dump pipe copies that BATMBL has in the sale forums...a bit of a power upgrade there. But if you're already complaining at brakes that's where I would be looking at. Get some braided brake lines. Race Brakes have a set for $390-ish I think, these a braided and are front and back. Or you can get some teflon coated ones from musecret which are the Project Mu ones. About the same price. Next probably look at some new rotors as yours may already be wearing thin. DBA 4000 or if you can afford the new 5000 series will work very fine indeed. GT-R calipers are damn good as it is but if you still aren't satisfied you should probably change these last in your brake set up. An oil cooler / breather will be good if you can afford it. Many people often do this first when modding for the track as in stock form the GT-R is fast enough...
  15. my alternator died on the way home. My battery level is at 8.5V and won't click over, even with a jump start. My mate has a RB30 alternator and I'm wondering if this will fit a RB20DET? I understand that many Nissan parts are interchangable with each other, I'm just hoping they're the same. Thanks.
  16. I made 131 at UAS relatively stock (10psi + cannon muffler)
  17. interested for the R32 drivers seat... these rails make the seat sit pretty low right?
  18. I've got a Blitz LM i/c and very happy with it. Personally with my car I'd prefer to pay extra for quality parts knowing that they do their job properly. I've never heard of a TRUST, HKS or Blitz cooler bubbling have you? If you want a cheap cooler go for a stock GT-R cooler. They're amongst the best of stock coolers and are more than good for 200kw at the wheels. If you look around for them you should be able to get them cheaper than the hybrid coolers.
  19. what dimensions are they? 16x7? or 16x8?
  20. please don't. I'm building my GTS-t more for go...a black R32 already has the show...
  21. i got spotted by ranger stacey (drag combat winner) I think that's what she said...Saturday night on Centenary Drive.
