  1. What if the cops are reading this thread?!
  2. Aussie cars (Commo's, Falcon's, etc) are cheap to buy for your first car, therefore bogans love them. What more do you want? 1-tyre skids, same old oval exhaust, same old V8 supercar kit and same old bogans driving them. Plus people think Jap cars are 'plastic cars' and Aussie cars are 'beef cars'...
  3. I don't even know what those types mean haha but I do enjoy the odd day on the greens here and there!
  4. +1 I'll be there to spectate.
  5. Ah k. There's so many import workshops up North, though. The only decent one down sort-of South is Z-Tune or Boostworx. I guess the majority of imports are up North or around the city suburbs...
  6. Are they located up North?
  7. Used Edward Lee's to get compliance + used import broker to get a car off them. Compliance they made a few (costly) mistakes, but I spoke with Phillip (head sales rep) and he seemed pretty decent. They seem to import a lot of S15's, though. They're basically an import yard.
  8. Spotted a white 31 down Goodwood rd tonight, looked in mint condition Also spotted a wine-red 33 (trust 33) on the dyno... @ Boostworx (had to drop off my GTR)
  9. Excellent - thanks guys, I'll give them a call tomorrow!
  10. RAA is useless. I used them when I had a Bluebird inspected. All they told me was that the exhaust was "louder than a regular bluebird"... well, the car did have a 2.5" cat-back system on it and a 3" canon
  11. Hi everyone, On Saturday, I tried to fit my GTR into a carport which I thought looked big enough, but once in the carport, it felt like I was reversing a tug boat or something. In the end, I reversed into a pole on a strange angle and in the process, I destroyed my right hand side blinker on the right gaurd + dented in the guard just above the blinker. I managed to get the bulk of the dent out, but since it's dented on one of the curves, it's something I just can't remove! It's such a small dent but it's really noticable - especially it being on a curve of the car. Can anyone recommend a dent removal place? I was thinking going to a crash repair place, but the dent is so minor, I didn't bother. I rang up some random 'mobile dent removal' place and they quoted me $150 to get it removed... they also told me to meet them on South Tce... Also, the side blinker... does anyone have one spare I can buy? It's a cheap one that was fitted in compliance so I doubt it's a genuine Nissan part. It's the tear shape type with amber colouring - the type on a VR or VS commo. Autobahn told me they can get one in for $90, but I thought that's a bit steep! Would somewhere like Nisswreck have one? Cheers
  12. This is becoming a bogan road rage experience thread? Here's my addition: Last year when I still had my little Familia, I was cruising down Anzac highway just past the Etsa building when a little Charade started tailgating me, then drove up next to me and proceeded to swerve into me! I slammed on the brakes and got behind the car, but then they ripped up their handbrake, so I swerved over and booted it up to the speed limit and then they followed me up, got next to me and there was about 4 bogan looking guys in the car yelling at me that I was driving a "homo shopping trolley" even though they were in a banged up Charade. They then wanted me to pull over to "bash the living sh*t out of me" but I drove off down a side street, they tried to follow but they gave up after a few minutes. www.bogan.com.au
  13. The GTR has no other pics apart from it's pics which were taken in the auction house... Haven't seen a 33 GTR that cheap... ever...
  14. Once they're made, etc. Where can we pick them up from?
  15. Spotted a midnight purple 33 GTS-t at the Seaford car wash last night - I nearly crashed my GTR into some random commodore as I was pulling out thanks to wet brakes after a car wash :\ I noticed the car's for sale? Spotted a Silver 'stag going down beach road near the shell service station/christies beach high school about 7:20am this morning... gave him 'the nod' and got 'the nod' back. Bog stock but looked in mint condition
  16. +1
  17. I wouldn't say 32 GTR prices are dropping... now that they are becoming a collectors item, and with the 35 GTR out, everyone wants a GTR again! 32 GTR's are awesome. Don't get anything under 19k here or in Japan - I've seen some 10k GTR's going on a few import websites and they look very suspect... It also depends if you want a stock or worked version. There's many, many thrashed examples coming out of Japan that have been drifted and driven into the ground with very poor mantinence. Watch out for the GTR's with accident damage, too. And make sure to check for rust, as some GTR's from certain parts of Japan have rust spots in the guards, boot, etc due to the damp and salty conditions that the cars subjected to. And never trust the k's on the speedo. They're more than likely wound back (easiest way to tell the mileage of a GTR is to check the steering wheel condition, handbrake and gear shift boot and especially the pedals), so always get the 100,000k service done the minute you buy it. But overall, if you get a nice, clean, well-maintained example, they're well worth it. They're alot of fun to drive and are a real head turner. And of course, they won't lose their value anytime soon. Best thing I've ever done is to buy my GTR!
  18. Savings and Loans - I've got a Visa Overdraft at the mo due to not having rego when I got the GTR imported. They offer a 8.x% interest rate. Awesome place. They said yes to me, where my original bank (Bank SA) said no way!
  19. hoodie/jacket: Hoodie name: Cronic... (including the dots) name in caps or not: no caps colour: black size: L how many: 1 hoodie/jacket: Hoodie name: 32 Zilla name in caps or not: no caps colour: Black size: L how many: 1 Transferring the $$ now, will PM you
  20. Spotted an R34, red with black bonnet gunning it down Grenfell st this morning Spotted an R34, black on Hindley St. Owner was a macca's dude - looked like he was the manager. Had a vented bonnet and very nice BBS rims.
  21. Didn't someone on here a while back have an older-model Laurel stolen? Pics are below... Car is from SA Also, which model/year is this one? From memory, it was '88? I've never personally seen one driving around... ever.
  22. Very common issue. Normally isn't a fuse either. Auto Sparky quoted me $180 to fix it (they apparently have to take the dash apart) The clocks in a hard to see position anyway
  23. 32 GTR's are already becoming hard to find in parts of Japan and the price is slowly creeping up, as it's becoming a 'collectors' item, plus the popularity of GTR's (with the release of the 35 GTR) has caused 34 GTR's to drop in price and 32 GTR's to go up in price.
